We had a lovely lunch at Salomas Panamanian Cuisine after a morning hike, and it was a great choice. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff was welcoming. Every dish was traditionally prepared and absolutely delicious—clearly made with care and attention to traditional flavors. This place is such a refreshing addition to our weekly restaurants. We loved running into a piece of where we grew up here in the states. The Service is one of the best we’ve had and this place feels like home to me. The owners really have brought up this modern take on their decorations but also retained the integrity of Panamanian cuisine on their plate. The homemade cheese is by far the best I’ve had and from being raised close to a dairy farm in panama this says a lot. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of our food, but I did capture the kids sandwiches. They offer great options for kids.

Wonderful small family owned eatery. I stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday and was blown away by how good the food was and the lady working there was extremely nice and answered a few questions we had. Me and my wife ordered a chef salad, chicken soup and Pollo Chupinpollo (chicken entree) with waters and shared our food. Everything was super fresh, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The chicken was deliciously moist and fall off the bone tender. As you can see in the picture you even got a chicken breast in your bowl of soup. The price for our meal felt extremely fair and the portions were large and left us feeling full. About $35 before tip was the cost of our meal.
We were big fans of cuban food before this and the Panamanian cuisine shares some similarities, like Patacones are basically Tostones but with a different name. And the Pollo Chupinpollo is very similar to a Cuban dish if you replaced pinto beans with black beans. We loved our visit and we will definitely be back to this place soon!

Cozy and comfortable, if you’re looking for some great food in a wonderful environment then look no further. Pedro helped us with picking our food and was friendly and funny. He made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend coming here!

This place is amazing! We ordered the Panamanian Platter, Pollo Guisado, Bistec encebollado, and Lechonera de Feria to go.. everything was absolutely delicious! Hojaldres were perfect!! Service was excellent too! Definitely a must try if you want to try some amazing Hispanic food. We will definitely be going back!

OMG! This place “Salomas” is so good. Very few Panamanian restaurants in the country. It was nice that the food was not Hispanic, or Latin, it was Panamanian. During the meal I want to go the kitchen to see if my mom was cooking, because the food was so on point. Come here once and be fan for life. These folk are very polite and will take time to explain everything on the menu without making you feel dumb. Beautiful place.

Clean, Delicious food and wonderful service. The chicken soup was very hearty and the best soup for any day! (I love soup lol) my husband got the chorizo sandwich with Chimichurri on top, my mom got an everything omelet and my daughter got the fries and tenders. The food is REALLY good! The options reminded me of a Puerto Rican restaurant. They have all kinds of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I HIGHLY recommend!
