Best hot sauce!! One of the few places to actually get an outstanding veggie burrito, chicken tacos are top notch as well! This is pretty much the only place to sit down and eat a pupusa in carbondale. All around amazing spot with delicious comfort food

The wait was a pretty long… ordered pupusas over prized for the size of them($3each). Exterior looks great, image lacks in the interior. I can say the fried plantains were soo good.

This is a $20 plate. There was no flavor and the service was not good. Sadly, the food is not close to how Salvadorian breakfast is made. The coffee was heated in the microwave and not freshly brewed, tasted horrible. Don’t ask for tortillas as they don’t serve them here. This is an embarrassment to my country.

100% The Best Hispanic Food in the valley! One of my favorite go to moves for killer grub. The carne asada is tender, flavorful and thinly sliced just like I like it. Pupusas are the best ever!! (Bean & cheese are my fav.) Salsas are on point! Beef Soup(Caldo de Res) is outstanding flavor quality & freshness. If you are in ‘Bonedale or just passing thru, do not miss this spot when your hungry!!! Enjoy.

I agree with a previous reviewer. I think it’s shady that mexican restaurants (not just this one) don’t display prices or say that actual prices are different than what’s on the menu. They can pretty much charge what they want. In this case, I made 2 different visits. The 1st time, I ordered 2 carne asada tacos that were tiny and cost $8 and didn’t even fill me up. They didn’t have much flavor to them and the meat was chunky instead of smaller cuts like traditional asada tacos. The 2nd time, I ordered a chicken burrito that was $11.50 plus tax, hardly worth it. The taste was good but I feel like it should have been 2 burritos for that price. Unfortunately at one time this was the only restaurant open out of any of them in the area so I didn’t have much other to choose from. I don’t visit Carbondale very often but the next time I do I doubt I will be coming here.

Absolutely amazing food and great customer service. Had the beef plate with churros and icecream for desert and it was all to die for. Would definitely come back next time in the area.

The food is really good, but takes awhile. Worth it. Pupusas are not overly large, really tender masa. The plates are pretty big, beans and rice are tasty.
