My wife and I checked out this spot last weekend, specifically looking for high-quality seafood that wasn’t part of a chain, and we were absolutely thrilled we did. The entire experience is centered around one massive bar where all the seating is arranged—it creates a unique, communal vibe, almost like the interactive energy you find at a hibachi grill. We loved the counter setup; it makes the atmosphere sociable and fun.
The food was truly epic. The appetizers were exceptional, especially the dozen fresh-shucked oysters, which were prepared right in front of us, proving how fresh they were. We also indulged in the incredible scallops and a standout dish of crawfish and alligator cheese that was simply amazing. For those looking for excellent bar bites, the shrimp and grit cakes are a must-try.
If you visit on a Sunday, don’t miss the $5 Bloody Marys. They were unreal—a fantastic deal and worth the visit on their own. We also sampled a jalapeño margarita, which was tasty and well-made. The service was top-notch—fast, friendly, and attentive, with staff strategically placed at each corner of the bar to ensure prompt attention. The moderate noise level contributes to the lively, awesome ambiance. We were already planning our next visit to try their rotating dinner specials before we even finished our meal. We ordered the steamed oysters and the Lunch salmon! It was better than I was expecting 🙂 we went on a Saturday and there was a steady stream of people.
The different types of sauces they had were incredible!! The lunch portion was smaller than expected but the salmon was yummy – I really enjoyed their asparagus.
I thought it was great that they shucked the oysters in front of us. Overall, highly recommend!

If you’re looking for seafood. This place is excellent. They will also adjust the cook method to an off menu option. The potatoes and coleslaw are great! The atmosphere encourages conversation between smaller groups. Met 4 new people last visit. Had a great time! Always do! If you like dessert, they do offer a variety of cake flavors.

Me and my wife went this past weekend to try somewhere new that was not a chain and was known to have good seafood. This place was awesome! The oysters, scallops and the crawfish & alligator cheese was AMAZING! Was a Sunday and had $5 bloody Mary’s that were unreal. I love Bloody’s and would come here just for those but the food was epic, servers were great and we both wanted to go back the next day! Highly recommend.

The portion size and price for crab stuffed mushrooms are a rip off but it taste good. I was sitting at the bar and two other people got reimbursed for the oysters, they were frozen so I didn’t get them. I ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees… everything else was good. I will come back to give another try.

The food was good, enjoyed the shrimp and grit cakes. The Bloody Mary was standard and good. Loved the concept of one massive bar that everyone sits around, very similar to eating at a hibachi restaurant. Service was decent, it helped that they put two people per corner so you could get service when needed. Will definitely come back to try their rotating dinner specials.

Stopped in for some fresh shucked oysters. Shucked at bar right in front of you. Fresh and tasty. They had 5 varieties this night. O tried a jalapeño margarita it was tasty. We will come back. Mostly bar seating but no bother. Service is fast and friendly.

Very inconsistent and tough to rate. I had the low country boil and they had forgotten to add any real seasoning to it. My wife had the crab bisque and it was nothing but broth, was not creamy, was overly spicy and tasted nothing like crab or bisque. She ordered a side of sauteed spinach that waa about a third of the size as previous visits. Each item we ordered has been delicious in the past visits but utterly failed tonight. And the waitstaff acted like they didn’t care when we complained. Did nothing and just sort of shrugged their shoulders like oh well. Too many good places to eat to be treated like that and pay their prices. Noticed a lot of help wanted signs on the window so makes me think they are on the way down. Saw several unsanitary practices while there as well. And not sure what the point of weekly specials when everything is listed as “market price”

So usually this place is always 5/5 all the way around. Unfortunately, after this week I had to write a review bc the service was awful. We had a party of around 8 people and were there for a birthday dinner. Staff was snarky and acted like we were an inconvenience. They were out of almost everything I asked for which leads me to believe someone in management is dropping the ball which frustrated the servers immensely. And they voiced their frustration very loudly and very clearly with each other in front of patrons which was extremely unprofessional and should have been taken to the break room. I can understand being frustrated in that situation but there’s a certain way you should act when you’re serving customers and that was not it. It would not have been as irritating as it was had our server not had a better attitude. Idc whether you put on a fake smile or not bc I know you’re just there to make money and go home but being unnecessarily rude is one thing. We’ve never had to deal with staff behaving like this before so it was surprising and very disappointing. The food was amazing as always (what we could order anyway….) 5/5, I just wish the service matched. The drinks that are usually pretty great were terrible. It seems like there’s new management or management has some training they need to do with employees bc the week night servers needed an attitude adjustment. I find it sad that was the experience someone received on their birthday. Like I said, it’s usually the best place to go and maybe it’s just the specific Tuesday night crew but that was a very sorry experience. I’m giving 3 stars all around for the food and the weekend crew. It would be a 1 star otherwise. Hopefully they can…adjust..and do better. It’s usually a fantastic place to be so I really do hope they can fix the issues.
