You are warned in advance that food comes out as it’s cooked rather than all at once, so we were prepared for that. We ordered the tater tots (which were really triangular hash browns), scrambled eggs, and chicken and waffles. The waffle was no bigger than a half-dollar, and you get three of them. The chicken was tough and not juicy. That said, the presentation was excellent.
We also chose the $80 executive mimosa, which can only be ordered at that price—you can’t just order a single highball glass. It’s filled with ice, so while it looks overwhelming, it was actually tasty. We got about eight glasses out of it, as described. Still, in my opinion, it was overpriced.
I agree with another reviewer about the bathrooms—they were dirty and in need of a good cleaning and fresh paint. They could easily be “boutiqued” to match the beautiful, elegant, and classy décor of the restaurant.
Will we go back? Maybe—to try lunch or dinner—but we’re not sure.
Highlighting the main issue:
Our server was nice and told us that our dishes are made to order. We ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, Chicken & Waffles, and Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap. I got the Green Velvet cocktail. We received our dishes one at a time and not altogether.
The food wasn’t that great. When the description online says tapas-style small plates, believe it and definitely not worth the price.
Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit: $11
Chicken & Waffles: $11
– the chicken was sandwiched with two eggo waffles. It tasted like the frozen breakfast waffles you get at the store for your kids.
– we were given 3 tiny pieces of fried chicken. They tasted alright but the prices made us even more upset. Quality = Quantity was not it.
Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap: $11
– my friend said it tasted like the type of turkey wrap you get at the gas station.
– Cold and bland
Green Velvet: $14
– the one thing I have pictured that was actually good
– still not worth the price for how small the drink is.
Pros:
– Dining area was beautifully decorated.
– Staff was friendly
Cons:
– Food is overly priced for small bites and some drinks
– Food quality for brunch is a 2/10
– bathrooms were dirty
Conclusion: was not worth the hype. Won’t go again.
I dropped a bill here just to try nearly everything kosher, and it was all fresh and delicious. The pasta, the parm, the appetizers – all top notch!
Even the water was delightful, and I always bring my own! Coffee & dessert was an amazing addition.
The staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. This is probably the single best dining experience I’ve had in 5 years here… I can’t believe I waited so long.
If you’re looking for the perfect dinner date spot or a great night out with the family, look no further!
We’ll certainly be there regularly
I ordered the signature Yada Salad and added breaded shrimp. The salad was delicious, but the shrimp had too much breading.
I’m sorry l missed the award winning Tiramisu! Guess I’ll have to return.
We’re so sad their full kitchen menu will be ending in a month- but excited to see what they have to offer. Heard they’re getting a piano for when they transition to a lounge!
