Me and my wife have been coming to Del Friscos since 2015 and it continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Denver. Some people may think that the sale to Landrys has caused a drop in quality, but that could not be further from the truth. The steaks, appetizers, and seafood are consistently top notch, and every dish is prepared with great attention to flavor and presentation. The cocktails are exceptional, tasty, well balanced, and never too strong. The VIP remains one of the best cocktails in Denver and is always a must order for us.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting without being too noisy, which makes it perfect for an intimate dinner, whether it is a first date or a special anniversary celebration. The valet and hostess staff are always professional and friendly, setting a positive tone the moment you arrive. The bathrooms are also very well maintained and spotless, which reflects the overall care and attention the restaurant puts into every detail.

Del Friscos delivers a consistently excellent dining experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality food, outstanding service, and a comfortable and elegant setting.

Love that they are open all day and not just at 5pm like some of the other steak houses. Definitely more pricey than a Eddie Merlots, but pretty close to a Shanahans. delicious ribeye. Decent Chateau potatoes. The surf & turf trio is interesting, 3 filet medallions with a single shrimp, mini crab cake and piece of lobster tail. Was celebrating a job promotion and they got me a piece of their hibiscus strawberry cheesecake which was nice of them

A warm and toasty-hued environment filled with golds, rich woods and low lighting welcomed us Friday night. It was a packed restaurant full of cheer with various holiday parties and dinners throughout the establishment.

We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary (and combined birthday celebration) with an upscale dinner out – only a once a year opportunity due to budget and a toddler at home who would not fare well without chicken nuggets and ketchup.

Our server, Lucas, was attentive and friendly and served complimentary champagne (some of the best I’ve had!) at the top of the meal as well as a celebratory cheesecake post-dinner. Very thoughtful and we highly enjoyed!

We ordered cocktails and the King Crab Rainbow Roll starter which was fantastic as was the Lobster Bisque. My husband ordered the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna (also divine) and I was torn between the salmon and the Del’s Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes.

Lucas suggested the crab cakes which I chose; we also ordered Lobster Mac & Cheese to round out the meal. Everything looked beautiful when delivered to the table.

I tried it all and enjoyed. However, I didn’t love the crab cakes. This was a personal preference reason and nothing to do with the chef or the food quality. (I prefer a crust/crunch on my crab cakes and these were soft and slightly undercooked for my taste.)

Overall, a lovely experience. Lucas made us feel welcome and gave us multiple Happy Anniversary wishes which was appreciated. (Note: The hostess staff wished the couple ahead of us a Happy Anniversary but didn’t say anything to us. No big deal.)

We’ve visited and enjoyed Eddie V.’s and we’re happy to also now have visited and enjoyed Del Frisco’s in Greenwood Village. Fine dining with a price tag that matches (hence only once a year) but worth it for the experience!

Celebrated my 30th birthday here and we were very impressed. EVERY server/staff member we passed by greeted us with a friendly welcoming and farewell. The way they stopped to make eye contact with us is not something you see everyday!! The atmosphere on a Saturday night is busy with tables, however our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We admired how friendly the general manager is, making sure to stop at every table and welcome us. There was a table nearby with children and he took the time to interact with them. Very impressed with their hospitality!
Onto the food- FANTASTIC! Highly recommend the Prime Strip and Prime Ribeye. Full of flavor and cooked very well. The birthday cheesecake and orange creamsicle desserts were delicious. We really enjoyed the speciality cocktail and mocktail for breast cancer awareness month. I love that they do this! We hope to return the next time we visit Colorado. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Incredible dining experience! I came in with a large group of people and our waiter treated everyone individually which really enhanced the evening. The food was outstanding and with massive portions for sides and appetizers.

10/10 would recommend for any and all special occasions!

I would like to commend Joe on his exceptional service and the kitchen on outstanding food. I brought my mom to this restaurant to give her an extra special birthday celebration. Service and food in the restaurant industry have generally gone downhill the past several years, and I recommended Del Frisco’s knowing she would not be disappointed in the service and food quality. It was a delicious, fun-filled evening and I am so grateful to your team for continuing to uphold the highest standards in a word that simply doesn’t anymore. You all are second to none!

Went here for a holiday business lunch. It was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive but gave us space during our meeting. The filet salad with horseradish dressing was amazing. The filet was rare and delicious . My associate had the “business lunch.” The lobster bisque smelled fantastic and his filet was perfectly medium rare. No dessert, we were stuffed. I got an email from the manager the next day thanking us for dining. Nice touch.

Came on a birthday date and it was a first time for both. Good food, 45 day aged strip, and crab cakes as entrees, lobster mac and mushroom for sides. Steak was prepared perfect and crab cakes were excellent (date is from Maryland said they’re just as good as in Maryland).
Servers were knowledgeable and pleasant but, the MOD seemed like he didn’t want to be there and it was a little distracting from the atmosphere for me. I didn’t have direct interaction but he was frequently visible looking perturbed or stressed. Could be personality or a situation but, I only mention because it distracted from the overall great experience we were having.

I will preface my review with this. I have been to numerous high end steak houses in the metro area and around the USA. With that being said, my wife and I went to Del Frisco’s for a date night since we had not been there before. Upon arrival, our hostess was very nice and greeted us in a very nice manner. Our waiter was also great, and he was attentive the entire time we were there. Needless to say, Service was great. Let’s keep in mind, we spent just under $300.00 for two of us.

Now the food……. We started with the calamari appetizer, and I must say it was disappointing. The calamari itself were average but the vast amount of sweet chili sauce it was emersed in was overwhelming and overpowering. Not good. I have had some great Ribeye steaks in my time, and I cannot say that I was impressed with my steak from Del Frisco’s. My ($85) steak was overcooked and dry and the mashed potatoes were overpowering with salt and butter. On top a having a $35 drink, I expected to have a better meal. My wife ordered seared ahi tuna which looked great and tasted good. unfortunately, the veggies layered under the tuna contained some pretty spicy jalapeno peppers which overpowered the plate. Not a bad tuna but my wife could not enjoy the veggies.

Also the restaurant is very dark and almost gloomy. It’s nice be able to hear the other person across the table speak but the ambiance needs a little more light.

All in all, the food can use improvement. I don’t normally like to complain because I love food and I do not skimp on the price. but this first visit was not up to par and I don’t think we will be going back to eat here. Thank you to the great staff at the restaurant, you all work very hard and are professional.
