Sadly over priced and underwhelming…

Brought my wife here for her birthday and it was such a let down.

Seen our waitress all of 4 times.. ordering, dropped our drinks and appetizers l, main course and check.

Ceasar salad wasn’t. Just iceberg lettuce with parm and dressing…

Pickle chips seemed old and tired. Likewise made an hour earlier?

Steaks were rubbery / fatty like a frozen Walmart budget steak (sorry Walmart.)

It was just a sad experience at Log ‘s.

Our visit to Logan’s Roadhouse in Spanish Fort was very disappointing overall. Upon arrival, the deadbolt was locked in the out position which caught on my very expensive specialized wheelchair, but thankfully there was no damage. The entry windows were dirty, and since it was early afternoon, there hadn’t been much traffic, so cleaning them should have been easy.

As we walked in, I noticed an empty peanut barrel, and the hostess informed me that they no longer provide peanuts due to COVID. This made me question why the barrel was still there if it was just going to be empty.

While the floors were relatively clean and a pleasant smell of barbecue filled the air, everything went downhill when I needed to use the restroom. It was very dirty with a strong smell of urine. After I spoke to the manager, who casually remarked about how some people can be messy, I revisited the restroom before leaving, but nothing had been done about the cleanliness. He was the only male staff member I saw, and it seemed like he was waiting for someone else to come clean. He wasn’t busy; he spent quite a bit of time chatting and laughing with the employees.

On a positive note, our server, Summer, was very thoughtful and thorough. She was a pleasant presence in what was otherwise a trying environment.

Now, onto the food: my appetite wasn’t great after the bathroom experience, but I tried to set that aside. I ordered the “cedar plank 1/4 BBQ chicken,” and my wife chose the “roadhouse smokehouse platter.” The sides tasted okay, but they weren’t at the right temperatures. Everything was kind of warm; items like potato salad should have been cold, while the green beans and meats should have been hot. Maybe it had something to do with putting it under a heat lamp which could have made the cold items warm… I don’t know that’s just a guess.

Barbecue is one of our favorites, but the chicken was simply different. We each took only about two bites; the chicken was rubbery and didn’t have the texture of good barbecued or smoked chicken.

Overall, the entire experience was disappointing. There are too many restaurants in the area with better options, so I don’t see myself returning to this location. These aren’t typical complaints for me; if you look through my reviews, most are very positive. I usually try to highlight good aspects, but there simply weren’t many here.

Came in a date with my boyfriend had the pleasure of having jack as our waiter. We both got a steak and I ordered medium with steak broccoli. I wasn’t disappointed at all he took good care of us and we enjoyed our meal.

It wasn’t busy when we came here. We both order the 6oz steak, cooked medium. Mine came out medium but my friend’s came medium well. They were both well seasoned and juicy. The sautéed broccoli had good flavor. The waitstaff was prompt with the food. I would come back next time I’m in town.

Great value! Great food and service! My wife and I stopped for dinner, traveling thru the area. I had the New York strip and it was done to perfection, very tasty. Sides were good too. Friendly, helpful waitress. Our two meals plus two glasses of wine for a little over fifty bucks is a great value today. Will visit again!

I will never return. Adult chicken tender meal- $17.62 with tax, before tip. Nothing looked fresh and satisfying. Chicken was mostly breading, no meat. One was the size of my finger. See pic. Rolls and ranch was missing from my to-go order, but added after I asked. Forget this place.

Wanted to love this place! Was told it was good. Should have known from the moment we walked in it would not be a good experience. Waitress took our order, brought out our salads but we didn’t have any napkins or utensils. Found someone and they said they would give us some in a minute. Waited 5 and nothing. Went and found the hostess who seemed less than enthused to help. Then said oh he’s bringing them out now. Our waitress didn’t check on us all but once. Most places if you are done with your plate will ask if they can take it and grab it. She was on the opposite side and we ended up having to hand it to her. When our food came out, it wasn’t very warm to say the least. I work in the food industry and I know food needs to be kept at temp and this was not temp at all. Maybe in the future will try again but I wasn’t impressed at all.

Ordered through the app for 6 people. The steaks were all cooked correctly, it was very tasty and logans did a great job providing enough rolls and silverware. Surprised it was still warm by the time we got it too. 10/10

Our server (Calee? Sorry girl, bad w/names) was the most polite, sweet thing. She paid all all her customers wonderful attention. I highly recommend the Breaded Buttermilk Chicken. It was to die for.

Will never recommend this place to anyone… from service to food bad experience. Ate a 1/4 of our food and just couldn’t finish. We could tell nothing was fresh. And yet waited quiet a while for our food. Rolls were good. Watched my son’s chicken tenders wait in a under heat rack for at least 10+ mins before being served with the remainder of our food. We weren’t ever given silverware until we asked. My tea had undissolved sugar in the causing me to change to soda. Our side plates, when given, were ALL 3 visibly still dirty. Waitress stayed unavailable for most of our experience. I ended up trying to pay at the hostess stand because me and my family needed go to ask for our check. Ive never not tipped until today… it’s a red flag when a “steakhouse ” uses instant water filled potato flakes instead of REAL potatoes PERIOD
