The Ultimate Lake City Find! ✨
If you haven’t been to La Fiesta Tacos and Tequila here in Lake City yet, you are seriously missing out!
From the second you walk in, the vibe is incredible—the decor is so vibrant and unique (check out those hand-painted chairs and the lighting!). But what really blew us away was the service. It was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.
We had a great time chatting with the owner, who was so welcoming and clearly passionate about the place. She even hooked us up with this salsa trial to start, and every single one had the perfect kick! ️
It’s rare to find a spot where the atmosphere, the food, and the hospitality all hit 10/10, but this is definitely it. If you’re looking for a new favorite Mexican spot, do yourself a favor and head over there.

Very nice restaurant from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the hostess with a smile.
Food was excellent as was our waitress Alma. It’s nice to see service with a smile! Very welcoming place. We are on vacation but I would certainly come back again.

I went for late dinner and ordered a ribeye steak and shrimp. The steak was topped with a dab of what I take to be a dark roasted tomato paste. I hesitantly tasted the topping alone first and to me, it had a smokey, roasted flavor. I decided to spread it over the entire steak, and it really enhanced the flavor! The meal came with refried beans, a light guacamole salad, red-ish orange colored rice which was delicious (don’t know yet how to describe the flavor) and left me wanting more! The quality of the ribeye meat itself was OK, but not the best, with too much gristle. However, it tasted really good, with and without the topping (same for the shrimp). I didn’t have to wait very long, even though the restaurant was fairly busy, and the attentive staff kept me supplied with warm tortilla chips and salsa that was prepared with just the right amount of heat for my preference. I definitely plan to return again.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! The selection of food was second to none and I’ve never seen as many Mexican seafood dishes on any menu. Our beautiful (inside and out) waitress was so accommodating and offered up her personal favorites. I decided to go with one of Amarely’s recommendations of Aguachile which is similar to Ceviche which I absolutely love! The Aguachile was even better! This will be a mandatory stop for us as we travel from MS to south Florida. Oh, and the margaritas were absolutely superb!! Best we had in weeks! Ultimately it was a 10/10 but Amarely took the experience over the top! I highly recommend you make it a stop

What a colorful surprise in our new hometown! The food and decor are an explosion of colors and flavors! WE WILL BE BACK OFTEN! Lady was our waitress. She was a doll! Ask for the spicy salsa but beware… IT IS SPICY! (The Mango sauce was my favorite).

I loved this place. Authentic Mexican restaurant but with a new design on the inside. I loved the seats and pictures and everything inside and how it was made. The menu has more than probably 3 pages of just alcohol. So any tequila or drink imaginable they have! Just don’t make the mistake of ordering “The Monster” house tequila drink. $25 for a huge vase but it can be shared by more than one person. It’s huge! They had pitchers for $11.99 of tequila pretty good to me. The food was also amazing. We spent a lot of money on here but it was mostly because of the two “big drinks”. The food was average priced for any Mexican restaurant and you get plenty of it to take home if you can’t eat it all…like me. Will definitely be back!

Amarilly was our server and she was absolutely amazing. This was our first experience and she had great suggestions for food and drinks! We tried the margarita flight and the molcajete for 2. Food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were amazing. The atmosphere was great, decorations were appealing.
