Im Salvadorian and moved to Bayonne from Queens NY where there’s nothing but amazing Hispanic food! This restaurant is one of the only ones in Bayonne that makes me feel like home. The pupusas are so good ! I was here a few days ago and I’d gladly come again and again. They are made to order so you do have to wait a bit but if you’re in a rush they have a great selection for their hot bar food which is also great my husband loves their sopa de res !

I used to like getting pupusas here, but I reached a point where it’s not even worth it anymore. When I’ve gone in there in the past they have treated me like they were annoyed I was even there, so this last time I ordered on the phone. They wouldn’t take my order because I didn’t speak Spanish and I got my friend to help. When I got my food the delivery man was really nice, so he got a star. The pupusas were fine, the tamale was ok, and the tres leches cake had mold on it. I threw the cake away and the rest of the pupusas because I was so grossed out. I’m not ordering from here again.

I’ve had the pupusas many times from here, and I’ve never had any issues with the food. Everything is always tasty. However, as for the service, it’s not the best and almost every time I try to call to make an order they NEVER pick up the phone. It has happened multiple times already, and when I show up to the store they’re not even busy. Whoever is in charge needs to look into this.

Well, where do I start off. It was my first time there. The waitress was nice, but I can tell that she isn’t a professional waitress. I didn’t get a bill or receipt. Only was verbally told the amount of my bill. I definitely know that I didn’t order almost $100 of food. Worse cold food at that. The pupusas weren’t good to me. The tamales was alright, definitely have had better elsewhere. Won’t be returning back here nor recommending this restaurant unfortunately. The prices advertises on the menu is not what they charge you, be smart and calculate it before you pay your bill.

When we first discovered this restaurant after moving to Bayonne we were so excited to try it ! Unfortunately we were very much let down.
As fellow a fellow salvi I can say the food is okay , not the best but when we’re craving something close to home it does its job.
However the main reason for my low rating is the customer service the girls that work her are beyond unprofessional and very very rude.
We tried hard to support our fellow people but they will no longer get any of our business. We will not be coming back nor will we recommend this restaurant ever again.

Service was horrible, my food was cold by the time it reached my table, I ordered fried plantains and that was the hottest thing on my plate, assuming they prepared my food and sat it to the side while waiting for the fried plantains to cook, should have just waited until the plantains were done then prepare the plate of food. they gave plastic fork spoon and knife and had small turtles in a tank very close to the tables where people eat, if you ask me that’s not very sanitary
