The restaurant was opened back in 2001 by two close cousins that had been working for almost 18 years together: Toño Amador and Miguel Toro. Nowadays Miguel has retired leaving Toño and a new partner in charge. Keeping the restaurant’s prestige by working hard every day.

Got takeout and ordered the nachos, plated them up at home and found a bug in the nachos. Absolutely disgusting. I have been coming here for years and never had an issue but this is disappointing and disgusting.

I really enjoy the food here their burritos are huge and really a great value. Their taquitos are really good too. They have a happy hour margarita, which is the perfect size. This recent visit we ordered the Molcajete and unfortunately was disappointed. We order this in several different Mexican restaurants around town and this was the least flavorful. It had some kind of green sauce and then all the meat was hanging out of the bowl and the cheese was huge chunks and not melted so I definitely would not recommend it but their other food is great.

Went here with my family on Sunday! Server was beyond amazing! However, there were roaches crawling on our table. Even the guest behind us said they had one crawl on the wall as well. With this I will never be back! Then tried to deny my other family members review saying we weren’t there! Nope it was there have receipt to prove. This place has roaches! Even the server said it was scary to see it. Spent a lot of money there all to be told was “sorry we will do a deep cleaning”!

Hubby and I stopped in for dinner. It was sooooo good. The server was so attentive. I ordered the new Fuego Mezcalita and it’s the best cocktail I’ve had in a long time & fairly priced. It was sweet, smokey with a hint of spice. Our food came out in a good time frame. The salsa is perfect. I ordered combo #13 which was a tamale and taco with rice & beans. Hubby got a gigantic burrito. The vibe was chill & they had a few tvs with games on. Everything was so yummy. We’ll definitely be back!!!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. My son is going to the army next week and we had a going away dinner for him on 02-6-2026. My son also enjoys this place. There is a waitress there with very negative energy each time I go. I ordered shrimp quesadillas and was missing at least 3 quesadillas like someone removed them from my plate. I hardly had any sour cream or guacamole. I asked for more chips for our large group and she purposely forgot. My food was dry and no love put into it. Im tired of dealing with this same waitress and decided not to go back nor take my family. We have gone at least 4 times in the past month including my son’s birthday. The same waitress took forever to serve us and there was no one in the restaurant. We are a black family and I will say, go figure to this type of unprofessionalism. The waitress is short some what heavy set between age 28-35 and works evenings. Beware as bad energy mixed with serving food can cause sickness and an overall disgusting experience. I hope the area manager takes this review seriously as you will long term get swollowed up by rising competition who will treat everyone with dignity and respect.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and it has always been extremely good food for a very reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make it a good experience. I have always recommended them to people and have always heard good things back. It’s an Aurora classic for a reason.

The only reason I give a one star is because our server was amazing.
We had roaches on our table!!! And all they can say was… “sorry we’ll do a thorough clean.”

Delicious and HUGE plates. I got a combo, my son a burrito and my husband a combo. We had two servings of leftovers to take home. Their rice is excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my chili relleno, crispy as well as the chicken enchilada… So much chicken!

This was my first visit to Guadalajara, located in Aurora, on MS and Abilene. My husband and I was greeted warmly by the hostess and seated immediately. The restaurant is alive with vibrant colors on the chairs, pictures and wall hangings throughout the restaurant, music, and viewing on a large screen TV for guest entertainment. The waitress/waiter was professional, warm, courteous, and friendly. The large menu was full of great Mexican foods to select from and a selection of good spirits menu too. The food tasted Great; it was plentiful and hot when served. I recommend this restaurant for family, couples, and friends. I’ll be returning soon! Thank you!
