Never again. I used to love Sonic when I lived in Kentucky. If this is the standards you brought north, it might be time to go back where y’all actually know how to operate this restaurant correctly. The app is terrible. Curbside is a joke. You place your order. Pull up to a stall as instructed. App tells you all stalls are full but no other cars are there. You have to go thru drive thru now. Don’t expect your order to be correct or even something resembling good food. Slushies are ok and I honestly wouldn’t trust them with much else. Tried to contact support to complain as this is now the third and final time I gave this a chance. Upon providing photos I was told management would reach out due to how significant these errors are. Been crickets ever since. I guess they must need 10-17 business days to address these complaints or something smh. Seems more likely they’ll just do nothing as is weirdly increasingly the case now. Apparently it’s on the customer to just deal with terrible service and substandard product at their own risk. This is why I’ll warn the others. Don’t waste your time and money like I did. Don’t bother to complain, it won’t matter. Goodbye to your money and your effort and your faith in business to operate properly or at least get it right some of the time. Couldn’t have happened on a worse night either. Literally cannot wait for the next time I get to go to KY and have good Sonic again. The other GR Sonic is usually as bad or worse. MI Sonic won’t get another dime and I’m loud so I’ll also probably never be done talking about this.

Great burgers and shakes. A bit disorganized.

– Double SONIC Smasher – $7.79: Great burger, but problems. The patties are probably eighth pound (true) smash patties. They were carmelized well, but a bit on the plain side. The cheese was amazing and melted throughout. The onions were medium to small chopped up pieces, fresh, spot on delicious, and balanced.

The Problems: First, I ordered the Triple and got the double (I checked and I did pay for a double). Second, the burger was thrown into the box and therefore very disorganized (messy) and had to be fixed to pick it up better and eat.

– Carmel Hand-Mixed Master Shake (small) – $5: My daughter had it and reported it tasted good. I thought it looked overpriced, but she said she has paid more for less. She probably knows this angle better than I do.

Things did seem to be a bit more expensive than other places, but I think many fast food places are raising their prices, too.

– Service: Extremely fast! We ordered and it arrived within a few short minutes. They did take cash and had to return with my change. They did get my order wrong, but I got what I paid for and just missed an additional patty. They were super nice and I’m sure they would have made it right if I said something, but we were ready to move on.

IMPORTANT: You must push the button to order from the parking spot ordering stations. We didn’t notice this immediately and waited for someone. When we realized we needed to push the button, it took about a minute to get someone to take our order.

– Atmosphere: We ordered from the car at one of the 5 or so ordering stations for parking and eating. There are more parking stations, but there are not menus and two-way ordering stations. It was kind of fun. They did NOT wear roller stakes (in case you are wondering).

– Conclusion: I have to admit, I was thinking about their burger afterward and wanted another. I’d definitely recommend them!

Absolute disaster. They lied and said the stalls were “broken” fifteen minutes after we checked in, even though the app said our food was being made. If stall pickup doesn’t work, don’t offer it.

We waited over 30 minutes while watching car after car order and leave. They tried to hand us cold food at 9:20 and swore it was “fresh.” It wasn’t. Drinks weren’t even made until 9:30. The cars behind us waited so long they just left without paying. We finally got our food at 9:45 — barely warm.

This place is a mess. Zero communication, lazy staff, and no accountability. Wouldn’t be surprised if it shuts down soon.

Honestly I feel bad for the franchise owner.

My husband and I went through the drive thru and order a number 10 with onion rings and an extra order of onion rings with a crispy chicken sandwich. We sat 10-12 minutes waiting at the window after paying. Got our food, and it was horrible. My husband called to let them know, and her response was that everything was done fresh. He asked if she wanted him to leave his name, and she said yes so I can get off the phone. Does it look fresh??

Called to question about my order. Staff was rude, and very short with me. And when my food FINALLY arrived it was cold. Waited 1 hr and paid $30 for COLD NASTY FOOD AND RUDE SERVICE. Do better!!!
Sidenote: i ordered the dragon refresher and it was fire!

I’m just a door dasher and was trying to get my clients order but the lady in there is so rude the app says to either wait at a stall or go into the store and ask for the order but the lady in there was super rude and demanded me to go wait in the long line in the drive through because she was too lazy to just give me the order WHICH WAS ALREADY MADE ! terrible customer service! Don’t go here if you have a fear of people spitting in your food

I went through the drive-thru, and got my fries, I went home and every one of my fries were overcooked, like sort of hard and crunchy. They also had a fishy aftertaste, I don’t know if it was from maybe frying a fish before, or the oil was bad. But the fries were not good, and they did not taste fresh. I felt sick afterwards…

37.00 for 2 Number 7 with Sonic Blast for Drink
If I could give Negative 100 its to much money for a dinky nothing like picture hamburger n nasty taste small kid size fries and the Sonic blast turtle just ice cream with few crumbles on top what a complete waste of my money. They are NOTHING like South Carolina Sonic

Whoever was working the microphone at the drive in today was super rude. I asked very simple questions super kindly. All i wanted was a jr cheeseburger and asked if they had tap to pay. Her response to everything was snarky, sassy and just plain rude. I dont normally do this but she needs some customer retraining or an attitude adjustment!

Ended up not ordering. Will take my buisness elsewhere.
