What a fun experience. The service was over the top. I love the honor system. We had a few drinks, listened to a band and bought a t-shirt. Successful and fun afternoon

The location was so close to our airBnB beach location. The owner of the airBnB made a great recommendation. Unfortunately, we arrived as a storm was passing through this weekend. No beach fishing for me. The shrimp and clams were steaming hot. We arrived at a great time. Not crowded and it was a Sunday. Service was fast

Before I start the review, beauty in simplicity. Their menu is a few fried items, BBQ, Oysters, and steamed seafood on a diner tray.

This is a local gem, like you’re invited into a friends house at the beach with self serve beer on tap. Very laid back, and great to enjoy conversation and meal without any stress.

Everything we got was really good. A+ corn dog, the pound of crab and pound of shrimp was fresh and perfectly cooked. Great value for what we got!

Really enjoyable meal, worth a visit for anyone in the area wanting to chill.

Such a cool place and atmosphere here. We thought the honor system was a unique touch here. Food was great and so was the service. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Just a nice place that does steamed shrimp and crab legs right. Stopped for a late lunch and they were fairly busy. They have some great foods and the beverage s is self serve on the way in they give you a “score card” to keep tally of your beverages.

It is a must stop for us everytime we come down. I didn’t give a service score because it’s a self serve. It might however have the best seafood on the coast. The steamed shrimp, oysters, and crab legs are great.

Published in Southern Living, this quaint little seafood restaurant draws people from all over the country to experience the fresh shrimp and oysters.
The menu is simple because they do, what they do best: Raw and baked oysters, steamed shrimp!
The serving are generous and we always leave full. The Gumbo is also good, I order it every time we go.
They feature live music often.
Although the wait may be long you have outdoor seating and games to keep you occupied. The firepit burns warmly in the winter months.
They have an honor system where you grab your beverage and keep track of them on a tally sheet.
So enjoy your favorite drink, some music and fun outdoors until your table is ready. And be prepared to be fed!!!

My favorite place in the world. Grew up sitting at the bar top watching Gator shuck oysters. Oysters are the best and that’s why you go there. Get your beer from the back and wait for a table. It’s worth the wait. If you are looking for a good burger, don’t go to a raw bar.

This review is for the stressed vacationing parent worried about dinner; I’m a very impatient and skeptical person. Went here for lunch with my wife and 7 year old today. Had a 30 minute wait for the table, but they made that wait easy. You are able to grab drinks (self serve) and cruise the gift shop inside, or hangout on the patio. They have some fun patio games. Food took a little to come out because they were so busy, but was worth it. And being able to self serve and relax makes up for that wait. Plus, the steamed shrimp were INCREDIBLE. Way better than another unnamed raw bar not far away. Oysters were great also. We spent way more than $20-$30 a person, but you could spend that much and be satisfied. Maybe less if you share – steamed shrimp is enough for two moderate eaters. Ignore any negative comments; pull up, hang out, enjoy the food. It easy to relax here and pause the clock of vacation.
