Love their bagels! My recommendation: honey cranberry cream cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel. Don’t toast it.
Staff are friendly and price is reasonable. Coffee is decent too. There is a large parking lot. The atmosphere could be improved but good enough for a bagel shop.

Came in this morning and paid $10.86 for a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel. Not only is that a rip off but I found a long strand of hair in my sandwich. 3 women were behind the counter without hats or hair nets. Absolutely uncool

I am so disappointed to write this because I liked this bagel store. I watched them make my food, they dropped it on the floor, picked it back up and proceeded to wrap it. When she started ringing me up I told her I don’t want a sandwich that fell on the floor. I was very nice about it. She was mad. She stared me down made the sandwich again. She then told me the cost, which I saw on the register. I go and look into my bank account and she charged me a $1 extra. It stinks to know that they think its okay to drop food on the floor and have someone eat it and charge extra without telling me. I won’t go back again.

This is not a one-off review, but the result of several bad experiences in a row. The bagels are good, overpriced, but good. Unfortunately, the service keeps getting worse. People tend to be aggressive, assume that you would know their menus and options by heart (the cashier raising her eyes to the roof as if you were dumb not to know the different coffee sizes …) and would never dare responding to a plain and simple “good morning”. The service is likely the worse you could find in the region. It bothers to write such a negative review on them, but I only do so with the hope they would act on it, and honor the quality of the food and nice customers in this area.

Popular spot which means busy, but it’s that way for a reason. Bagels, bagel sandwiches of countless varieties, plenty of schmears, wraps, baked goods and snacks. Great for breakfast sandwiches. There was a bagel sandwich missing from our order on this visit, but our friends that live near by and come here often have not had problems… Mistakes happen and given the volume on a busy Saturday, it’s easily forgiven. I’ll be back!

The service in this place is really bad, you have to repeat the other to the cashier 4 times and at the final you get cold bagel. When I ask to pls toasted and add butter they charged me $2 extra and also they will blame you bc you didn’t ask to toasted,in front of the other customers . At the final I got a burnt french toasted bagel and no cheese in my egg and cheese … Update try to talk with the manager Cristopher, he was the one who overcharged 2 dollars, (you can check the menu $3.25 Bagel with butter). His answer was …do whatever you want. Now I understand why all employees look so miserable working there.

Decent bagel. Been to a bunch of thier locations. This is a better one. Bagels are consistent at all locations, a little harder than I would like. But not horrible. Clean inside.

I’m honestly torn writing this review because the food at Goldberg’s Bagels in Jamesport was genuinely great. The bagels were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. If I were rating this place on food alone, it would easily be 4 or 5 stars.
Unfortunately, the customer service was so bad that it completely ruined my experience. After placing my order, the staff began helping other customers without finishing mine. I stood there waiting, unsure of what was going on, and when I politely asked about the rest of my order, I was met with unnecessary attitude. One of the workers actually snapped at me, saying, “You will get your order all at once when I’m done!”—not as an explanation, but as if I was bothering her for asking.
I wasn’t rushing anyone—I just wanted to know if my order was still being prepared. Instead of simply communicating, I was treated with disrespect and frustration. It was rude, uncalled for, and honestly set a terrible tone for the rest of my morning.
Despite the good food, I will not be returning. There are many other bagel places where you can get great bagels and be treated with basic courtesy. Disappointing.

Worst bagel I’ve ever had and I’ve had many bagels in my day. The bagel was about 3 days old and very stale which is sad since we visited at 6:45AM when the bagels should all be fresh. Only thing that made it edible was the large amount of cream cheese they put.
