I just worked a 12-hour shift, came home exhausted, and this is what I was delivered from Max & Erma’s — these sad, dry, overcooked wing. The quality is absolutely unacceptable. They look burnt, dried out, and like they were scraped from the bottom of a pan and thrown into a box with zero care. I order via Door Dash and my driver was waiting at the restaurant for my order and sent me a message. I’m not understanding what the wait was for. The door dash driver delivered my order promptly( I was looking at the map). I ordered dinner via DoorDash because of my long day at work and standing 12 hrs on my feet. I am a very understand Woman but I expect my food to be fresh, edible, and prepared with some basic standard of quality. Instead, I received food that looks like it sat around all day and was reheated until it turned to leather. This is beyond disappointing and shows a complete lack of pride in what’s being served to paying customers. What’s worse, this chicken was for my 6 year old daughter who has ADHD….
After a long day of work, the last thing anyone wants is to waste their hard-earned money on food that should have never left the kitchen. Do better, Max & Erma’s.
I did call and speak to a woman name Alicia*, who identified herself as a Manager. She was very empathetic and I appreciated her calm tone with me but dinner was still ruined for my family tonight .

Visited dinner time Valentine’s day. Every seat in the house was occupied, I think the servers did a pretty good job managing the rush. Diana was sweet. We thought the food was better than average. Unexpectedly surprised by Max & Ermas. Nostalgic. Food was great, and they have a Gluten free menu! And prices were good! Only 2 issues, we had paid 1.99 for a loaded fry upgrade we never received and subbed slaw for fries on another order and never received. But it was quiet hectic for the holiday at peak dinner hour. Got carryout from Max & Erma’s and we were SOOOO pleasantly surprised. I had the Bodacious Bacon Burger, my daughter got the Mushroom & Swiss.. both were juicy, flavorful, and just really well done. Everything was absolutely delicious and hot, fresh, and packed well. We kept stopping mid bite to say how damn good it was! Definitely a new go-to spot!

Our first time eating here. My wife had a bacon burger our girls had macaroni and cheese. Our son had pizza and I had the boss burger. All the food was good. And the burgers are huge. Had to get a to go container. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The place was clean. We will definitely be back

I don’t know what it is about Max & Erma’s but I really enjoy ot every time. Their menu isn’t anything very different or crazy, I’ve ordered a handful of different meals and they have so far always exceeded my expectations. My servers have been helpful and attentive. I believe its been five or six visits so far and I have to say I have had zero issues & plan on going back again soon. I would highly recommend you take your family and give them a shot as well!

What a great place! Staff is extremely friendly and informed. They have a great set of some local beers and cajun pasta is beyond amazing! The seasoned fries only have salt but I would love it if they add the cajun seasoning to it, but that’s just an idea. They are great the way they are! Definitely stop by!

It has been many years since we’ve been to Max & Erma’s and it looks like nothing has changed. Food was good, burgers & sandwiches were fairly priced and tasted good. The potato skins were wimpy would not give them another shot. No real wow factors but was just a good suburb restaurant. I will say the inside of this restaurant need a deep clean and some serious R&R. Chipping paint in the dining room dingy chair & tables. These are just a few of the many updates that would do this restaurant some good.

Max & Erma’s is such a great place to go especially for families! The burgers are great! Carcar was the best and recommended a great park for our son since we are from out of town, thank you so much!
