The restaurant is well maintained, spotless and organized! Their rice pudding and shrimp bisque soup are insanely delicious! I also had their pork chops, OMG— so far this is the BEST PORK CHOPS I’ve ever had! I also had their SHRIMP SCAMPI! WOW! The most delicious scampi I’ve ever had ( super generous serving, too). I would also like to commend the STERLING service that their servers provided us especially Nitesh. And of course, the owners (Red and Alfonso) are super down to earth! As diners go, this one was really nice. We had 4 kids with us and the waiter was amazing with the kids and the service. I got a crab cake, green beans, and fries. My husband got steak and eggs. The food was very good. It was a big crab cake with big lumps crab meat and not too much filler. The steak was cooked perfect and had good flavor. Def recommend

Lucky us! As people not from the area, we didn’t know which diner in the greater Baltimore area would be good. Great choice! Our first impression was how clean it was. Everything was immaculate. It was a quiet Sunday night, so we didn’t test the waitstaff during a rush, but they were so kind and the food was delicious! Great choice for anybody on a roadtrip!

The menu large and the selection was fantastic ! We tried the chicken, Gyro, cheeseburger, turkey club, and some dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection.
The dessert we tried was the apple crumb cheesecake, and it was one of the best cheesecake I’ve ever ever had !
Huge fan of the pricing as well as it was very affordable for families . We will be back thank you again!

The restaurant was pretty quiet for a Sunday afternoon and not crowded at all. The food was pretty good. The cream of crab soup had a good taste but could use a bit more crab meat. The shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly, but the crabcake was a bit wet and I wasn’t extatic about the little bits of red peppers in it. We also got the lumberjack breakfast platter and everything was very good. The waiter was very courteous and frequently checking on us, took our order and returned with our drinks quickly. We would definitely return to eat here in the future.

My family and I were wanting to go out and have some family time and my daughter wanted to go to a diner that we used to go to. Honestly this wasn’t even the dawn of that My daughter was talking about but I’m glad I did choose to sign up because we had a wonderful time with Jose and the food was delicious. This is a beautiful, bustling restaurant. We chose to sit on the bar side at a high top table. We ordered a sd mule and amaretto sour. The drinks were mixed well. We also ordered the Old Bay Fried Shrimp and the Shrimp Quesadilla for appetizers. Both appetizers were outstanding. They were flavorful and delivered within a timely manner. The entree we ordered were Scrambled Eggs with cheese and Caramel French toast as well as the Kickin’ Short.Rib burger with Fries. Both entrees were delicious and very good quality. The price point is on par for an upscale, quality establishment. The service was excellent. We were waited on by Quinn as well as the Bar Manager Zack. Overall, I would recommend trying this newly opened restaurant at The Avenue.

First, the food is way overpriced but we were seated so I ordered the French Toast Platter which includes 2 eggs and choice of meat.
I requested bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese. The eggs were very hard-scrambled, flattened and topped with 2 pieces of the “plastic wrapped” american cheese that was barely melted. They were also luke warm, dry and inedible to me. The French toast was borderline burned and so dry I used 4 syrups. The bacon was fatty and of low quality. The server was not friendly. He definitely noticed I didn’t eat the eggs but never asked if there was something wrong. (Lack of experience or just doesn’t care.)
My husband’s meal was country fried steak with sausage gravy and home fried potatoes. Looked unappetizing and tasted bland plus the server forgot his toast initially.
It may not sound like it but we both genuinely dislike complaining. However, if our time wasn’t so limited, I definitely would have sent my food back. It was that bad. When we stood up to leave, my husband left $10.00 on the table for the tip. I said no way?!?…how much is the check? He said $44 and change. I said that’s outrageous. He politely asked me to please stop and proceeded to pay. Some readers may be interested to know, we had a healthy discussion once in the car and agreed I will be reviewing all checks in the future.
After reading another review regarding the gratuity, I realize now, they added their 18% gratuity to our check and my husband didn’t see it.

I absolutely understand my husband should have paid more attention to the check but can’t help feeling deceived by the restaurant.
I find this practice unethical for just two guests. For all the reasons above, we simply decided we will never patronize this business again.
