Dinner with a friend. A very nice restaurant! Good service, nice food and in a good location. The duck is delicious. I ordered red wine by the glass; IGP Vallée du Paradis etc. I think I got the last glass from the bottle -it was a lot of sediment in my glass (A minor thing of course, but perhaps this wine should be decanted.) I had a great evening. See you next time I’m in Paris!

The food at Canard & Champagne was actually very good — well-prepared and flavorful, definitely worth trying if you’re into duck and classic French cuisine. However, the service completely ruined the experience.
The woman serving, was unfriendly, cold, and clearly not interested in making anyone feel welcome. A smile wouldn’t hurt, especially in a place that positions itself as a chic dining spot. Worst of all, she brought
the bill before I had even finished my meal — seriously, what kind of service is that?
For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected professionalism and at least some basic courtesy. Great food deserves great service, and sadly, Canard & Champagne is seriously lacking in that department. If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience from start to finish, you might want to look elsewhere.

Had the lunch set – duck breast was amazing and the dessert was good. Service can be improved however. I sat outside as it was full, and it wasn’t the best experience as the waiters are not as attentive to those outside, and it can get quite crowded with people walking by.

Came here without a reservation and got seated after a short wait. Would not recommend bringing luggage here.
Had the duck breast and foie gras. Both were very good but the duck breast left a lasting impression. Cooked perfectly, skin is slightly charred and served with a sweet sauce.
Service was slow but we did come during a weekend and they were quite busy. Host was friendly but the server was probably too busy.
The basement tables have a very nice ambiance!

We arrived half an hour early tired from walking the surrounding shops and streets and they graciously sat us and the service was impeccable. Great recommendations. The play du jour is a fantastic value for the quality of food we had. As much as I love trying new places, and there are a million in Paris, this will be a repeat next time I’m in Paris.

This was my first dinner out in Paris all by myself and I was a little nervous about not being able to speak French. That said, it was all I hoped it would be. The restaurant was charming, food was delicious, and the lady that took care of me was so lovely and patient… my dinner was just perfect. Merci beaucoup for such a memorable evening!

Even though it was 10 PM and there were empty tables inside the restaurant, they seated us outside. The weather was really cold, so the food got cold quickly. The staff were not polite, the service was very poor, the table was not clean!!! and the taste of the food was average.Never go there again!
