Was in the area and stopped by this location yesterday. Pastries were good. Breakfast sandwiches were alright and bought a midnight sandwich, Cold to go for today.

Absolutely Disappointed with this pathetic Midnight sandwich Which was sold yesterday (2/7) Even though the sticker clearly says the Best By day was two days prior. Where is the pork? And where the rest of ham and cheese? ☺️
I expected a lot more at the very least, an entire layer of pork and for the ham and cheese not to vanish once I pressed the sandwich….

Long gone are the days Where you would buy a Cuban or midnight sandwich where the inside was 2 to 3 inches tall. Now they charge your premium dollars for the bare minimum. Bring back the real Cuban & midnight sandwiches, Latin America style, and charge accordingly.
Had enough of these Cuban bakeries and places offering mediocre, food At gourmet pricing.

So first time visiting Aventura and was looking for a place to have breakfast closer to where we’re going, regardless of some negative reviews I still wanted to come in and I have to say I’m glad we did, the cortadito was delicious and the breakfast sandwiches were really good, not toasted but the bread was warm like it had just come out of the oven, I added cheese to my egg and ham sandwich on Cuban bread and my wife had it without cheese, it all came out rather quickly, no complaints on the food or the service whatsoever. Definitely recommend!

This place was great when it opened. Back then it was Vicky bakery. Then it changed to CAO
After that everything went down hill. Quality, service and pastelitos size was cut in half for the same price. You better off with gas station pastelitos.
Save your money and go somewhere else

I come to this location every other week, and every employee seems to be happy to be at work. Every one always greet you with a good morning and a smile, Disley is an amazing server I hope I wrote her name right. Maria is also great. I do my best to remember the names of the people who served me and treat me well. Keep up the good work!!

Great Cuban coffee and breakfast! All the waitresses were very polite and friendly. We ordered an Original breakfast, one colada, fried beef empanadas and chicken croquetas. Everything was delicious and done the way we requested it.

If I could give one star I would. I come here all the time, and today I came. I ordered my toast as usual, and they put too much butter on it. I asked the girl if she could change it, and she said no, that it was already made. Honestly, toast is never made. You put butter on it and then it gets toasted. I am a regular customer, and I will never come here again. The girl gave very bad attention and very bad service. I will never come here again.

Authentic and Always Amazing!

I’ve been coming to CAO Bakery for a while now as it’s down the street from me, and it’s hands down one of the most authentic spots around. The line moves quickly, thanks to the friendly and efficient staff who always greet you with a smile.

The place is spotless, with the team constantly cleaning tables as soon as they’re free. And the food? Incredible. Their cafe con leche is a standout every single time, and the quality is consistently fresh and delicious.

If you’re craving real Cuban flavors in a clean, welcoming environment, this is the place to be.

I like the Tray of Pastelitos & Croquetica, but sometimes communication can be an issue. I am thankful when at least one person speaks English. Because of this, I started placing online orders. Even then, I noticed an issue with missing items-thankfully, I checked my bag before leaving, though I really shouldn’t have to.
Another issue is that when I order a large coffee, I am given a small and told there are no large cups available. In that situation, l believe I should be given two small cups to make up for the large.
Thankfully, the issue with the missing item was resolved. The breakfast was okay. I will return only for the Tray of Pastelitos & Croquetica.
