Stopped in to this to-go burger spot for my first time and really enjoyed it. They have a large menu and portions. Service was quick, everything that we ordered was cooked well and had some great flavor. Parking can be tricky in this part of town depending on the time, but I was able to find street parking one block away. Everything that we ordered came out really fast and pricing is fair. This is not a sit down and eat kind of place, it is designed for to go, which is what I chose to do for this first visit.

I chose the Patty Melt and added avocado because it’s filled with cheese and large patties. It had some great seasoning on the meat and the bread was perfectly toasted. The french fries on the side weren’t my favorite but still enjoyable. I would recommend and visit again in the future to try different items.

Had the breakfast burrito and the cheese steak. Great food great prices. Kind of a long wait but worth it.

While slightly pricy it is more than made up for in taste and quality.
Staff are decent enough for type of over the counter place it is.
Only downside is the seating can be a bit dirty, but you can just take out anyway.

Great spot for lunch and great customer service. I had the chicken and beef teriyaki plate, lots of protein and flavorful. Will be back!

Love the teriyaki (spicy, with grilled onions). The meat was really flavorful and I was enjoying it despite wondering where the spice was. Then I tried what likely are shredded yellow chili peppers (pictured in the upper left corner of the meat) – sinus clearing! Really great food and the perfect heat level with the peppers (if in the mood). Salad dressing not pictured but a great complement to the beef teriyaki. The grilled vegetables are a wonderful alternative to salad too. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu!

Great service! Great food! So delicious and quick! The gentleman at the counter is courteous and kind. Cheese steak sandwich and tuna melt on point! Easy order, easy parking. Best place on this block 405 & Santa Monica Blvd. Great place for a late lunch.

Absolutely delicious. Friendly service. They use beef tallow for their fries. One of the best in West LA.

Honestly the chicken teriyaki might be the best takeout lunch in LA. It’s huge and reasonably priced. French fries are also amazing, super crispy hot and salty. Aguas frescas are fresh and delicious too.

Had the patty melt and was not disappointed at all. The fries made in tallow make difference too. Taste so much better than other burger spots

Rays, side street burger joint. Let’s begin!

Pros: grilled bun, thick burger, extra grilled jalepeno on the side, grilled onions on request, fresh veggies on the burger, bacon thick and real and finally, each bite crutched with the sounds of the gods

Cons: parking and seating is limited.

Now for the price. When I saw I was paying 11.75 for a Bacon cheese burger, I felt jipped a little. This is because I was expecting a flat patty, salty overcooked bacon on a small bun with soggy veggies. I was already bitter before I got my burger, but how wrong was i. They cooked it so good, by the time I was finished eating it, I was high-fiving myself in the car.

Its SOLID and worth the cash.
