Our dim sum outing for 12 was a blast—especially since several people had never tried dim sum before. We went big and ordered a total of 42 small plates.
The spread included multiple plates of shrimp dumplings, scallop dumplings, chicken siu mai, chive dumplings, spring rolls, shrimp rice-flour rolls, chicken feet, bean curd rolls, steamed pork buns, beef short ribs, fried dough with shrimp paste, sesame balls, and steamed sponge cake.
Out of everything, the clear favorites across the table were the fried dough with shrimp paste and the shrimp rice-flour rolls—both were a hit with nearly all of us.

One of our absolute favorite dim sum spots! We eat here regularly and always enjoy our meals. We love eating familial style and sharing the many delicious plates. They’ve updated their menu as well, which is very nice aesthetically with prices clearly labeled. I highly recommend the visit for yummy Chinese dishes!

We’ve eaten at this place several times. It is very clean and has not been packed any of the times that we went. We have been seated rather quickly. The staff is very nice and the food is delicious! The dim sum menu is pretty large. The main menu also has options. The food comes out very hot and fresh. We have enjoyed everything that we have tried. Dim sum is a perfect way to try foods that you may have not seen or tried before. Highly recommended! We will definitely return!

Every time I come here I fall in love again — super authentic and delicious dim sum with lots of options to choose from. Yesterday I didn’t see a noodle dish that I really loved on the carts, but the waitress ordered it from the back for me and it was perfect as always! Whenever I make a video of this restaurant on tiktok it goes viral because it is KNOWN for being absolutely amazing. Definitely give it a try!

My entire party enjoyed this delightful new Chinese restaurant in Decatur. Friendly and well-attended staff, especially from Ricky, and nice decor. Especially enjoyed the Shu mai, shrimp dumplings, potstickers, crab Rangoon, eggplant, edamame and delicious main courses. Very affordable too! Liked the heated lazy Susan in the center of the table. Will definitely return to this great new addition to the Decatur dining scene.

I eat dimsum quite often and I’ve eaten it all over North America. In places like NYC, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Houston, LA, SF, Seattle, etc,. This place here is comparable to most of the popular dimsum restaurants in other city with the big Asian population. I was quite impress by how good it was. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some really good dim sum. I give it a raise the roof rating

Dim sum was delicious! We drove 3 and half hours to enjoy this meal! First time visiting and we loved the food here! The service was fast and people were friendly! They explained all the dishes to us and my husband who didn’t have a good experience from the last dim sum we went to in Boston, finally enjoyed dim sum here!! Our favorite is the tofu wrap with some sort of pork and woodear mushrooms in it! Highly recommend it! Go early if you can because we were lucky to find a parking!

Very disappointing experience at Canton House.
The service was extremely disorganized from the moment we arrived. We were seated and waited nearly 20 minutes with an unset table. No one came by to greet us, pour tea, or even acknowledge us. The dim sum carts never stopped at our table either. We felt completely ignored.
Eventually, I had to get up and complain to the manager because we were hungry and frustrated just sitting there with no service.
The food itself was only average — nothing special and definitely not worth the poor service.
To make matters worse, the bathroom was incredibly dirty and clearly not being maintained. It gave a very unpleasant, unsanitary feeling, which really ruined the overall dining experience.
Overall, bad service, average food, and poor cleanliness. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.
