Being that was my first time there.The waitress Kim was very nice.. The DJ got in about 8 music was cool. The Wings and the nachos were Rockin.. the shots and the beer were decently priced. Security was tight they pat at the door. Three pool tables alcohol and a DJ.. I’ll be back.

Definitely a locals dive bar, with no desire to attract or conform to tourists. Which is kind of refreshing to be honest. It’s got a very modern demographic mix; a nice benefit welcoming all cultures & races without issue. It can be rough around the edges sometimes and can get rowdy rather quickly. That said, they’ve got armed guards at all entrances for a fast reaction. A lot goes on there, so if you lack ‘street smarts’ you may want to consider an alternative spot. It lacks amenities and leaves a little to be desired in the sanitation & cleanliness department, but I wouldn’t consider it a travesty or risk either. Prices and food are mediocre at best. To sum it up in a single phrase I would say: “.. It is an acquired & specific taste, not for everyone…. “

This building has been there since I was a teenager. Nothing new has been done but it’s an ok hangout for locals. It would have been nice to have a cold beer though. Our blue moons were hot and they had no orange. Friend said his corora was hot and $4. Not very good if you ask me. On the bright side the wings were good. Crispy like I like them.

The place is nice but way too crowded on the weekends the bartenders weren’t paying attention to their customers I feel like they were only serving the people they know but there is a bartender and a cook that were so nice before they were about to close it was so dead they could have closed but they let me and my friends stay til closing they had great customer service I wish I could remember their names but me and my boyfriend go there often the music is good and there is a DJ he plays good music

Very interesting place !!! Mixed crowd , reasonable prices , 2 pool tables , darts , a d.j. loud heavy hip hop music great for dancin , good bar food till 11: 00 , wings are great !!!!! Differnt lunch specials every day , occassionaly hava band . At night , ask for brook , da bartender , shed be da really cute lil brunette behind da bar . Tell her rick sentchu !!!!! Awesome music with the best Djays and bartenders. Dj Ralo and Dj Danny PU get the party jumping from wall to wall. I will definitely visit this bar again. I love the environment of the Sun Up bar & Grill.
