Stopped in today after pickleball with my daughter and enjoyed a great meal. I had the smoked salmon avocado toast. Coffee is hot and strong and the wait staff were friendly.

We were staying in an Airbnb near by and our hosts listed Hazel’s as a recommendation – we’re so glad they did! We made a reservation for a Friday morning brunch and the staff on the phone and in-house were all delightful. The food was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend!

Busy! Had to wait about 10 min even with a reservation. Food came out hot and fast and delicious. Prices were reasonable too.

My friend and I really enjoyed this breakfast spot! We tried the chicken fried steak, meat waffle, beignets, and pineapple nojitos.
The chicken fried steak was a standout—the best I’ve had—crispy on the outside with flavorful gravy on top. The meat waffle was unique and fun to try; we liked it with syrup at first, though it did get a little heavy as we kept eating. Still, it’s worth experiencing at least once.
The drinks were refreshing, though slightly watered down and lacking a stronger pineapple flavor. The beignets weren’t my favorite—they were more like a light, airy pastry than true beignets.
Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back.
Tip: Make a reservation, even if you live nearby—it gets busy!

We were in town celebrating my friends 50th and Hazels was suggested. We would return again & recommend trying for their friendly service and great food! We tried the black bean pancakes, gouda burger and southwest salad. All choices were fabulous but we agreed the burger and salad stole the show!

Google recommended this place so I decided to give it a try. It was kind of a long wait to be seated but the service was great. The food was outstanding. They actually knew how to make eggs over medium and not come out with hard yolks. Great experience overall. Definitely would be pleased to return

When I walked in I looked at the floor and felt like I had entered an old converted hardware store. (compliment). It just has that old, broken in cozy home vibe. My breakfast was great. Food aside, every employee I dealt with from being seated to our server and those we walked by the table were great. Priscilla was our server. 6 out of 5 stars all day long and twice on Sunday. Priscilla knew the menu, fun to speak with, she made the whole experience great. The kind of person you would hire, regardless of the job because she is that good with people. Kudos to you Priscilla! Next time I am back in MSP from Boston, I am coming back for sure.

Went here for brunch on a Saturday with reservations. We got seated super quick despite being a few minutes late. The waitress was on top of her game and checked on us a lot and was quick with refills and the check. For drinks, I got the Pineapple Nojito and it was amazing. The FOOD was the really amazing part and I will definitely be coming back. I got the Brother’s Combo and the waffle was amazing and the egg and bacon were perfect as well. I got a side of hash browns and those were super good and had a unique taste. My girlfriend got the meat waffle, and she’s been dreaming about it ever since.

Overall, Hazel’s is a nice little quaint restaurant. I thought the menu was appealing to most and small yet create creative. The service was good. I like the vibe of the restaurant. I will go back and try something else. We had the cheese curds, and risotto. The risotto was great cheese curds were fair .definitely you must try. Parking can be a pain, but that’s true of most of the restaurants in that area

I got lost in NE and just happened to drive by – my good luck! This place is great. I love a classic eggs and hash brown breakfast – it couldn’t have been better. Best hash browns I’ve had in a very long time. Poached eggs to perfection, a surprisingly hard thing to count on. Very comfortable and very nice staff. I will be back.
