we live down the road in Edison and have been wanting to try this place. We had people over last Sunday and it was time to pull the trigger, let me tell you, this is GOOD pizza, the sauce and cheese is excellent and you can tell these are very high quality ingredients, we had 3 well done pies to go and they were all delicious. I can’t wait to order again and try some of the other items! I hear the cheesesteak is off the chains as well!

Incredible pizza and sandwiches. This place might even be the best pizza spot in Middlesex county. Amazing sauce. Right down the street from my wife and I. Can’t believe i discovered it so late. Extremely personable cool staff. Thankful the area finally has a legitimate pizza spot because for whatever reason, New Brunswick (a college town in the middle of NEW JERSEY, doesn’t really have any *elite* pizza. Highland Park across the bridge does and it’s called DeeDee’s!
The food is much better than the average pizzaria’s in the area, they’re quick, the prices are very fair. Check out DeeDee’s!

The hot honey square pepperoni pizza was absolutely amazing! The crust was light, perfectly crispy, and had just the right crunch in every bite. The combination of savory pepperoni with the sweet heat of the hot honey created a perfect balance of flavors—bold, slightly spicy, and incredibly satisfying. Each slice had a nice texture and the square cut made it feel heartier. This pizza is a must-try if you love a sweet-and-spicy twist on a classic favorite. Highly recommended!

Buffalo chicken pizza is love the additional touch of blue cheese + celery combo. Only buffalo chicken pizza I’ve had thats actually a little bit spicy, perfect.
*some consistency issues. Got a buffalo chicken slice today (monday 6/16) and its not the same as it usually is. Its poor quality.
The cheese slices: You can tell its good just by the pictures. They also seemed to have studied in a LAB how to make a juicy, cheesy, oiled up pizza without having floppy weak crust.
Only one small downside — the tomato sauce feels like its canned paste. Not fresh

Best pizza in the New Brunswick/Highland Park area. I’ve tried the hot honey pepperoni, eggplant parm, old fashioned, and French onion pizzas. Each one was delicious and made of ingredients which taste like they were selected by people who care about the quality of pizza!! The Cheesesteak, eggplant parm sandwich, and wings are also amazing!!!

This is not for Dee Dee’s. Just reminiscing about the times me and my friends would come here back in the 70’s when it was called Highland Pizza. One of the best in Central Jersey along with Lo Chiatto’s in Edison. Great pizza. No fancy crap stuff just go old pizza.

Small spot, HUGE flavor. DeeDee’s serves up tasty slices with a perfect crust and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They made some fantastic recommendations. The spice level on the Gabagool slice was phenomenal. Easily the best pizza in the area—no question.

Wow, what a treat to have DeeDee’s open in Highland Park! As someone from Essex County, I’m pretty picky when it comes to pizza, but this spot has quickly become my favorite in the area. The chef/owner, who used to run Fatto Americano in New Brunswick, set my expectations high—and they were met, if not exceeded.
I tried the Cacio e Pepe round and the square salad pie with bacon marmalade, and both were incredible. The dough was light, crisp, and chewy in all the right ways. I loved that they served the arugula, cheese, and pepper on the side for the Cacio e Pepe without me even having to ask. Tried all three dipping sauces—usually not my thing, but they were fun, with the “Italian ranch” being a standout for crust dipping.
Big thanks to Jackie for opening this gem! Can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu. The only downside is the limited indoor seating—it would be great if this became more of a sit-down spot. On the plus side, parking is a breeze, and online ordering was super easy and precise. They’re impressively well-organized for only being on their second day, and you can tell they know what they’re doing!

Look at popular wall paint. Unfortunately…. im order cheesesteak with plains on write paper then show him… . And with fries French too. He said he did not have served fries French , sorry.
It’s okay, just cheesesteak. About 15 mins later… he give your food. But…. this is wrong. He said no onions?? .
Unfortunately, no time made a reorder….. he said sorry for the inconvenience and refunds.
This is the first time and I’m understand… no big deal. Please be very careful you must read my write paper order clear it….
Next time, trying again and soon find out.

Despite no-frills seating on the inside and outside save for the mural on the side of the building, their pizza shines. It’s thin and crispy with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The staff was helpful and courteous.
