Have eaten here many times over the last 10-ish years, and I have to say that the quality and service has seriously degraded to the point that I wouldn’t recommend anyone wasting their time and money here. The only reason I’m writing this is because of how disappointing it is that such a good restaurant has gone so far downhill. They used to serve delicious food with higher quality ingredients at a reasonable price, but we just went again after about a year and the food was mostly flavorless with poorer quality ingredients. The service was subpar with our server forgetting parts of our order multiple times. My dish was supposed to include shrimp, shredded crab, and scallops. There were two pieces of overcooked shrimp, no crab that I could tell, and some of the most pitiful likely fake scallops (all perfectly cylindrical and exactly sized).
The worst part was the pricing. I get that prices have increased across the board, but they no longer come close to matching the quality of the meal you receive. I have no complaints when the quality of the meal I eat justifies the elevated price, but this wasn’t nearly the case here.
Finally, the most disappointing example of their declining quality and service is how we were told there upcharges for such small things. Want to substitute meat for a cheese? An indeterminate upcharge exists that your server has to ask about. Want to take home the last half of your soft drink? That will also be an upcharge FOR A STYROFOAM CUP!
It really is unfortunate how a restaurant of such quality has been managed poorly enough to get to this point.

This just goes to show you that you still need to check out restaurants, regardless of reviews. This place is downright one of the best kept secrets in Wake Forest. This place is one of the absolute best places in the state to get authentic Italian food and their yelp rating makes no sense. People are so quick to leave bad reviews, but will leave a restaurant satisfied and won’t leave a good review. This is one of those spots where you’ll visit and you’ll never forget it. Their pizzas are flawless. Their pastas are incredible. Everything we’ve ever had is downright amazing. The staff and the service is incredible. It’s locally owned by a small family and they’re always there busting their butts off to make amazing food for this community. This spot is a must try! Highly recommended!

This restaurant came highly recommend and I’m so glad that we went. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. The wait staff was so nice and friendly. Even gave us great advice on meal options. The owners wife was so sweet and welcoming. The meal was so good that we actually ordered food to go the next day. Would highly recommend!

Although the interior is nice, the service is friendly and fast, and portions are large, that is all of the positives. Staff was more concerned about themselves, the food is not flavorful, and they were untruthful about the bill.
First, we paid $50 for a lunchtime reservation. There were 4 tables occupied. Some places think they are too special.
When we asked for the celing fans to be turned off, because we were sitting under an air conditioning vent and my 90yo mother was cold, they balked saying they (the wait staff) would get hot.
The 6 fried zucchini sticks were bland and tasted like the frying oil. The sausage and peppers tasted freezer burned and the “pasta sauce:l” tasted like warmed tomatoes puree without seasoning.
Three percent was added to the bill because we paid with a credit card. The waitress said the credit card company “made them” do this and refused to accept this as the price of doing business.
We won’t be back and cannot recommend the restaurant.

Cant rate atmosphere because I haven’t ever sat down in the restaurant. I have ordered from Uber eats 6-7 times at least and that’s it, no more. I live 5 min around the corner (yes we are lazy for not picking it up) but never again will I order from here. Insanely expensive for what you get, check other reviews, and also the food is simply not good. They skimp so hard on the toppings, NY pizza is a skim of sauce and handful of cheese ($25.00) their square pizza is a joke being mainly bread, with again no toppings.
The first few times we ordered it was “okay” and only thing available so we ordered again but that’s it. I’d be an idiot to order from here again. You will be disappointed if you spend your money here.

Love it here! We got takeout a couple times during peak of covid and it was amazing. We went dine in on Saturday and the food was even better in house and our server was super attentive and friendly and upbeat.
Update: amazing as usual, the bruschetta was fantastic and everyone was very happy with their meals. Francesca is a wonderful and friendly server!

Very good Nonni’s Pizza. Get it we’ll done. The draft beer selection could be better. I had a the Foothills Hoppium which was good and my wife had the Red Oak Helles which seemed a bit flat but drinkable. They have a great bar in the back where we sat. Stephanie was a very attentive and good bartender. We even met some folks we haven’t seen in quite a while and met some new friends.
We came here again last night (12/28/2024) and had the NY pizza and the antipasto. Both were very good!! Still a four and even five star rating. The other pasta dishes looked great too!
