Came here with my husband and we absolutely enjoyed the food. The man, I wish we could’ve gotten his name, was so friendly too. Will definitely be coming back when I have another itch for Korean street food

We decided to stop in on a whim. Never had these dishes before but the gentleman at the register was very helpful giving us an overview of what everything was. We ordered a bit of each of their main dishes. Very good! Tteok-bokki is a bit spicy for me but I love the texture of the rice cakes.

So good!
Ironically street food is about conveniently grabbing a bite while you’re on the go. We drove 40 minutes one way just to come try this place and it was well worth it! The flavors and textures are perfect, prices are very reasonable, food is addicting, the menu has things I’ve never heard of in it, we can’t wait to go back and try more!

Amazing! After a long flight and a long train ride, Bapmukja was just what we needed to recharge! I got the K burger (spicy pork) with seasoned fries and my honey got the bulgogi bowl. Both dishes were delicious and fairly priced. This shop is clearly loved by its community because customers were going in and out the whole time we were there. There was only one guy working and he was locked in—bro was cleaning, taking orders, answering questions, and making delicious food the whole time. Amazing little spot!!! Many people were ordering the tteokbokki so I will have to try that before I leave.

stopped by around 10:20 on a Tuesday to try the tteokbokki, I wanted a little late night food that didn’t break the bank (see: sub $10) for context, I eat halal
i saw the rose tteokbokki had bacon in it, figured if I couldn’t have it sans bacon I’d try the original tteokbokki which is spicier (a win imo). but to my dismay the original has beef stock ! bummerrrr probably must taste banging tho, knowing that. I hemmed and hawed on what to order, but the guy was sooo nice (I wish I’d caught his name!), he helped me choose something else. so close to closing, a lot of items were low- I also learned the mandu had beef and they were out of kimchi. but! we finally settled on the shrimp and tuna kbowl. he said he’d sub the mandu for more spring rolls and the kimchi for pickled radishes. I was getting ready for disappointment, tbh. I saw pics of the eggs and they weren’t even soft boiled 🙁

boy was I wrong! there were NO MISSES in this bowl. the tempura is fried to perfection, the tuna mayo’d up and seasoned to perfection, the EGG! ugh it was marinated in some soy mix sauce, it was better than I could have ever imagined. the pickled yellow radish? FIRE I like those better than kimchi anyway so that was a win.
was I hungry? yes. was this perfectly warm and everything just perfectly hit? also yes.
okay the one negative thing I’ll say – the spring rolls are really just battered, deep fried perilla leaves with sweet potato noodles inside from my understanding, fyi. don’t think they have any more veggies than that really, would not recommend getting them as a side unless they hit the spot for you.

the interior was fab, the reviewer that said there was a frog was absolutely correct there was an AMAZING frog 🙂 and the vibe was moody and very chic. anyways I loved it and although it wasn’t super friendly to my diet I might come again to try the kimbap 🙂

thank you for the amazing experience bapmukja !

One of my new favorites in Lynwood! The food was fresh and delicious! The shrimp and bulgogi kimbap were fantastic and would highly recommend the rose tteokbokki. The service was very friendly. After hearing us talk about getting the bulgogi kimbap they brought one to us on the house! Will come here again:)

Wanted to check this place out specifically for the Rosé tteokbokki which was nice and rich and creamy. It also has bacon in it which puts it’s decadence levels over the top. Not spicy at all for those who love the chewy rice cakes but not the best. Also snagged pork belly kimbap and some ‘street toast’ which was a surprise hit of a sandwich. Everything was great and tasted very fresh. It’s a casual buss your own table kind of place and prices are fitting. Will definitely come back sometime.

Seriously the most delicious snacks. The shrimp and mandu were crispy even though I had it delivered. The tteokbokki was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet and honestly the best I’ve had around. Bulgogi kimbap was delicious as well.

Wow!! Came here with friends to try a variety (some pictured below, but not all because we ate so fast haha)
– Short rib kimbap was well seasoned
– Street toast was fresh, savory with a little sweetness. Just the right amount of crispy and still soft on the inside.
– Rosé tteokboki was creamy, savory and perfect for cold weather… could see it being a go-to for a hearty and satisfying lunch/dinner. The sauce consistency was divine without being too heavy.
– Aglio Olio tteokboki was my personal favourite because I love garlic, and this dish delivered (without the spicy chillies too). It smelled amazing even before eating. Every bite was so perfectly crisp and chewy that I wanted to keep eating it, even after I was full. The bacon bits were generously sprinkled throughout.

Really impressive quality and portions for the amount we paid. Fantastic service and cleanliness too. I hope Bapmukja keeps growing until they have a downtown Seattle branch because I will definitely be back!!

Any kimbap of theirs is amazing. No complaints, but I highly recommend their shrimp tempura one, so tasty.

However, the toast was not my favorite. The sweetness of it was not for me, neither all that cabbage it had inside. If that is something you might like go for it, they also have another one with bulgogi.
