Moved from California. Craving Pastrami & Swiss. Came here, Sandwich to go, and 2 bagels. I got back to my hotel room, no pickles . How can you call this place a Jewish deli without pickles. Within an hour both bagels were hard as a rock how was this $34 for 1 Sandwich? Cheap on the Swiss, Half of a slice of cheese on both sandwiches. Been a chef over 20 years. Not worth it!!! The Nosh has better bagels.

Unfortunately this place has really gone down hill in the quality of their food. I used to really enjoy their pastrami, but my wife and I dropped by today and both our dishes were just mediocre. My 1/2 pastrami on sourdough had no flavor and the bread was dry. My matzoball soup was OK, but not near as good as it used to be. My wife had the open face tuna melt and she not only didn’t finish it, but said she wouldn’t recommend it. On a more positive note, plenty of parking, not crowded and easy to get a table and the service was great; but you return to restaurants for the food and we not be going back very soon.

We only had bagels and bought cookies.
The bagels were fantastic.
All of the cookies tasted the same.
There was very little chocolate or other stuff to change the flavor on cookies.
We tried other baked stuff and it too tasted the same as the cookies.
Everything was dry.
The Chompies cookies from Fry’s I’ve had were better.
We will be back for bagels .

I turned to Chompies in Chandler AZ to cater my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah reception. Melissa Lind went above and beyond to meet our needs within our already stretched budget. The Nova Lox and veggie trays were delicious, as was the elegant fruit platters and cookie platters.
We inquired if Chompies could recreate a very expensive custom cake that fed 25 people. She referred us to their bakery who took our image and recreated two cakes, spot on, one vanilla, the other red velvet that could feed 50. A spot on match for a little over $100 for the both of them. I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Thank you Melissa.

I used to drive out of my way for Chompies bagels. Haven’t been in a couple of years after a bad experience several years ago. Went here several times a month for the decade before that. What happened to the bagels? They cut the selection down since COVID and the last two times I went for a dozen bagels, selection was extremely limited. Also these used to be the fattest bagels, now thin and mostly hole. Prices went up and quality went down. Sad.

Came here on a Friday to buy a loaf of rye bread but ended up staying with my husband for AYCE fish fry which is offered on Fridays only. Saw the flyer for in it while ordering or bread, $21.99/person comes with seasoned fingerling potato fries (which were very good) well seasoned softer than most fries but thick and a side of coleslaw slaw (decent) along with beer battered cod. Fish was good size, lightly crisp, lots of fish, tarter sauce and malt vinegar were amazing additions. Server was quick to bring more upon ordering a little more, very kind, however upon checkout we noticed we were charged $24.99/person for the meal. Brought this to attention and were given complimentary dessert of our choice for the discrepancy and error on their fliers advertising it up front. Selected the strawberry cheesecake to take home for my husband and he loved it. Overall, it was over $60 lunch for two after tip. Was very kind gesture and although the place is pricey for sandwiches I would recommend it as a splurge as I’ve had them before. Will likely be back and would definitely recommend. Breakfast menu looks good as well and would definitely like to try it too some time.

Decided to try breakfast here. We were in a larger party, so it took a bit for the room to get set up. Ordering went smoothly, and the drinks were ordered. The drinks were served in the order taken. There were two servers, and it took roughly 10 minutes to finish serving drinks before taking food orders. The room we were in had an older family theme. The room itself needed to be painted, and hvac grills cleaned. Our orders were taken, and in 15 minutes, they were served. I had the all-American breakfast. The three eggs were cooked perfectly, as were the hash browns. The two sausages were tasty. The bacon was also good. I will say the Nagel was a letdown as it did not have the onion taste expected. The value for the meal was good. The men’s bathroom floor was dirty and needed a detail cleaning.

Staff was very inviting and helpful. I got an egg, cheese, and hash bagel and it was delicious! The pastries they have are pretty good as well!

Excellent food and service. Would come back often, but we don’t live in Arizona (next time).
Our waitress was very nice to us, explained all the bread options and let us sample an item.
The food portion was just right… beware the sandwiches ARE stacked high (for good).
The dessert options remind me of the variety of sweets, and other delicacies of Austria or Germany.
Restrooms are also super clean.
I can tell someone has spent a lot of time on designing the details, look and feel for the entire restaurant.

The deli of delis – amazing options for everyone in the family. Soup was delicious and sandwiches too big to finish – huge portions, tasty apps and desserts. We brought home leftovers, big loaf of bread and their mustard too. Price is high but you get a lot of food for it – it’s not just high to be pricey. Next time we split!
