My favorite Mexican restaurant in McAlester and that’s saying a lot since we have 27397372 of them. Never had a bad meal here. Chicken fajita nachos, Chile rellano, queso are all great. Even the salsa is a little spicy. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE the chicken soup here!! All the food is good and served fresh. The menu lists all the prices clearly. No surprises there. The prices are higher because you pay for fresh food, cooked fresh, and a LARGE serving usually plenty for a whole other meal later! I take mine for lunch the next day at work.

El Chilo Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic spot! The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Tried this place last night and the food was absolutely delicious. Had the Jacob special and a tequila sunrise and both were amazing. I will say the menu definitely needs to be changed was very confusing and hard to read and way too many pages. Service was not too bad. Would definitely recommend them based on the food quality alone.

Food was okay we ordered Chile Colorado and one kid menu, they have horchata but not in the menu. They have variety of cocktails as well. I’m quite disappointed as when we received our check the total was quite expensive than expected and did not give you a break down on how much is everything, and when we are about to pay total is also different and I’m quite surprise about it, when I ask they told me that there’s 3.5% additional fee if we are going to pay via card. I don’t have a problem paying the 3.5% fee but there’s no sign anywhere that says it. Manager told me that it’s posted at the door but when I look there’s nothing on it. We will definitely not coming back as there’s a lot of discrepancies when they charge you..

We had the best Mexican meal we’ve had since moving to Eufaula 5 years ago. The chips were crispy & thin,& the queso & salsa were thick. My husband said his burrito was his favorite. My carne asada was tender & tasty.

Deliciosa!! The best street tacos we’ve had in Oklahoma. The service was great too. They have a variety of salsas. I prefer the green salsa. The carnita tacos were my favorite.
