This is a small place and doesn’t have a smoker onsite. They either oven cook the meat or cook off site. I am leaning towards the latter from the looks of the brisket. Had 3 slices of brisket on my lean beef sandwich, which by the way was not trimmed as a “lean beef” sandwich should have been. The meat had no flavor except for the BBQ sauce that I put on it. Probably due to it being kept in water to keep it moist. A swing and a miss on this one.

Easily one of the best owners and customer service for all the BBQ places I have visited in the DFW area. The atmosphere is great as they have tons of awesome Bible verses around but it is small and feels like a cafeteria. I thought the sides and most to everything we ate was good but my brisket wasn’t the best. I am willing to give them another try because of how great the service and people were but when it came to the meat, it wasn’t my preference. My wife was smiling the entire time during this visit so that alone would make me want to go back.

The shredded brisket was really good on my baked potato. The potato seemed to be cubed, and the flavor was not quite what I expected. My partner’s bbq and fried was reported to be very good. Service with a smile and the place was clean. Overall a good experience.

Great food. Amazing service. The mild salsa was so good. It literally tasted good for you it was so fresh. I had the loaded fries with brisket. They were fantastic. Most family friendly place ever.

We were struggling to find a bbq place to eat that was keto friendly on their meat when we ran across this place. The meats were amazingly flavored, and the ribs fell right off the bone. The owner was kind enough to come out and have a conversation with us and let us know we were safe to eat his food without fear of throwing us off our diet. Definitely be back for more. It was a real treat.

I come to Keller once a month. I always stop in for breakfast or lunch. JR’s is Delicious BBQ. The BBQ is flavorful/tasty. They have the old fashioned crinkle fries. They are the best. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean including the restroom. They are reasonably priced. Love it.
