I was craving a cheeseburger, so I ordered a sub from Giovannis for lunch Sunday. They only offer a hamburger sub, to add cheese cost $1. The sub was pretty bad. The patties were overcooked, and the sub roll was so wet I could have wrung it out. It fell apart when I unwrapped it. I picked it up about 20 minutes after ordering it so it wasn’t because it was sitting too long. And it cost $16.38!!!! Never again will I order a sub from them. Do better Giovannis or I’ll stop ordering salads and one of my favorite pizzas from you too. I could have gotten a much better sub from Market Basket for less than half that price.

Called to find out where the rest of my missing delivery was. An hour before they closed someone who barely spoke English kept telling me “no more orders. We closed”. I tried to explain that part of my order was missing and she kept repeating herself. The food is good, when they deliver it. Certainly will be ordering from them less or if at all in the new year.

The food here is consistently great and the staff is always friendly—it’s clear they care about their customers and put pride into what they serve. That said, I do want to offer a little feedback for pickup orders, whether someone’s picking up for themselves or using a service like Uber Eats or Instacart.
Charging $1.25 for duck sauce and then only providing three tiny squeeze packets just doesn’t feel like a good value—especially for something like an order of chicken fingers that really needs a proper side of sauce. It’s a small thing, but those details make a big difference when it comes to the overall experience.
I’ll definitely keep coming back, but I hope you’ll consider this feedback to make things even better.

My food was not made well. Items were over cooked and there was almost little meat on my roast beef 3 way (it also had no flavor). All my mozzarella sticks had no cheese in them.

This was our first and last time ordering from here. Upon receiving our food we noticed a pile of grease on top of our pizza box. As we open the bag where the grease pool was coming from we noticed it was the Onion rings. Theres a pic of them below. Looks like onion rings that someone chewed up and spit out. Not to mention the rings were double bagged and the oil still went through that and got grease everywhere. The roast beef sub I’m pretty sure I heard moooing coming from the bag before I even opened it up. It wasn’t even cooked and they’re supposedly known for their roast beef?! Yea sure if I want to get mad cow disease. It was gross and mushy. Everything was freaking cold too. I’ve had better pizza from Market Basket frozen food section. We will not ever order from here again and would not recommend it either.

A few years ago I thought I found a new go-to spot because almost everything I got was great. It’s now 3 orders in a row where I only got through half the meal and threw the rest away. The fries were literally raw and inedible.
Service has also gotten worse. Please greet your paying customers as soon as they walk in regardless of whether or not your having a conversation with a co-worker. That’s especially if you expect a tip.

1st time, I was amazed at the food quality and quantity. 35 years in business, takeout for us. Chicken Parmigiana Calzone was amazing, buffalo wings are breaded but very tasty, mozzarella sticks so yummy. Front order taking personal did great job, super friendly and didn’t mind that we forgot.some things in our order. Quickly cooked and added the food. Top shelf place for takeout. (Has seats if you want to eat there). 5 star deli and pizzeria.
