It was literally the best Khao Man Gai I’ve ever had. The meat was thick, decent and flavorable, but once I put it into my mouth, it turned so soft like it started kind of melting. I’ve stayed in Thailand for 4 months total and literally had lots of khao man gai in its home country, but THIS is literally the best. I mean, the price is much higher than that of Thailand, but still. Definitely worth it to try if you’re a fan of Thai cuisine.

Great Thai food and attentive service. Everything we had was good: calamari, fried rice, and sweet & sour fish. Just street parking.

They open late Thai restaurant we order lots of food. Very slow on food waited 30+ minutes. It feels that they forgot our order. They had 4 other customers that came in after us and got their food before us. Water had someone inside Thai tea was bit more milky taste. The lady was nice. Food was small portion. The out come of this we still had our Thai food.

I swear, I’ve never had Thai cuisine in Hawaii anywhere as good as Pattaya Thai by Chef Yuri ‍
I frequent this spot, and never had a mediocre dish.
Also, where else on island has outdoor seating, dog friendly and BYOB AND THEY OFFER KAREOKE?!!! Seriously, check it out for yourself.

So, I order any and all things on the menu, everything is killer, fresh and flavorful. Pad Gra Prow, is epic no one in the state has better, and same for her Pad Thai and Drunken noodles These dishes are absolutely perfect at Pattaya.

So, go, go check um out

One of the better traditional Thai eateries in Honolulu/Oahu. The green curry was very well prepared with a lot of well cooked vegetables. We ordered it in mild and it came with just a slight spiciness and a bit sweet. We also ordered a papaya salad pork belly combo. It was excellent with plenty of green leaves to wrap the pork belly. The seating area was decorated with funky Christmas items as it tried to resemble a street cafe in Thailand (minus the mosquitoes). The service was friendly but very slooooow. It only had two servers for a full house, but in all fairness, it was probably because it was on the day of Christmas. Maybe we will try it again. No parking lot for this place, so it may be difficult unless you eat very late.

Pattaya Thai saved a Saturday night birthday celebration for our friends when the Thai place we had reservations at closed without notice!

I’ve passed by the restaurant frequently on my way to various lunch destinations during the weekdays but never stopped for lunch. I rent a monthly parking spot at a nearby garage, but they also have a few parking spots along the side, on Ilaniwai Street.

In addition to the sidewalk seating and indoor dining, there’s a patio in the back that’s quite fun for small parties. It’s covered in artificial grass and there are large umbrellas to keep any light rain off.

Service was friendly and quick, as was the turnaround of the dishes. Note that it is BYOB!

This is on the corner with lots of outdoor seating. The lunch special Thai basil chicken was made with what seemed like “ground chicken” and as such had a strange crumbly texture. It was also salty which took away from the flavor. The shrimp pad Thai tasted nice, but also a little salty. The stone crab was OK but the meat was kind of dry/crumbly, which made it difficult to eat all the small bits of meat. It was not plump and flavorful firm crab meat which you can pull out of a cracked shell, instead it crumbled & came apart, very frustrating. I think it was old. The best thing we had here was the sticky rice with mango dessert, the mango was perfectly ripe and set, and the sticky rice with coconut and sesame seeds was the perfect compliment to the mango.

Overall this place is ok. Not the best, not the worst (except the stone crab, that is the worst crab we ever had).

We had a large group on Christmas day and the staff took care of us, by making a long table to accommodate. The food was good from Tom yum soup to pad thai.We ordered an assortment of Thai dishes and they were good. Good job by the kitchen crew.
