Interesting experience. It wasn’t exactly clear from the website, but you can get the empanadas, frozen, refrigerated or heated up and ready to eat. Since we were doing “the takeout thing” we got them heated and ready to eat.
There is a wide selection of different fillings from breakfast to vegan to meat.
The only way to tell them apart is by looking at the code stamped in the corner. See the close-up in the picture. This matches up with the code on the receipt and the menu.
We ordered chicken, beef, beef, and sweet potato with butternut squash. I would have to say the meat ones were the favorite.
Everyone was quite friendly and I believe building a brand name was important to them.
They came with a small container of chimichurri sauce. It was great and to the extent it lasted. I put it on everything.
They did say that two would be sufficient for dinner. There I have to disagree. I think three or maybe four. Probably wouldn’t hurt to pick up some extra chimichurri sauce too.

Stopped for takeout on my way to work. The Greek salad was SO incredible, I didn’t even need the dressing that was on the side. Spicy beef empanada I ate at work (full disclosure: I didn’t reheat per directions but it was still delish). The caramelized onions & cheese as well as the caramelized onions & mushrooms (heated properly for lunch today) were outstanding (picture). Service was prompt & friendly! I’ll be back.

Haven’t had their Empanadas but did buy the ravioli at Detweiler’s. If you like dough then these are the ravioli for you. There was less than a 1/2 teaspoon of filling in every one. We’ll be returning the other package we purchased today.

Extremely nice people and customer service. The empanadas are incredibly good; I tried the chicken and the beef. The crust is super-thin perfection, the filling is succulent. The beef OMG you bite into it and taste beautiful green olive, lovely spiced beef. The chicken filling is the opposite of dry, it’s juicy and delicious. The sheer array of empanadas they offer is a sight to behold. Try this place.

You have to go here!! What a beautiful blend of Italian and Argentinian specialties! I picked up the vegan mozzarella and went home and made my favorite grilled cheese like my mom used to. BUT now I’m vegan and it was delicious! The cheese melted and it was tasty and flavorful. They also have homemade pasta and of course empanadas. Great Fusion of countries with great food.

We LOVE the empanadas at the sarasota farmers market. We had the chicken, spicy chicken and pepperoni. Surprisingly, the pepperoni was our favorite but you cant go wrong with any of them. Coming from some one who doesn’t like spicy food, I would rank the spice between a mild and medium spice. We will return!

So I went and got two empanadas they looked OK and they’re premade and they were heated up after I pick them for me . They were crispy, but they also fell apart…..they were rounded, but then when you handled them, they flattened out….they were really flat and didn’t stay together. the taste was pretty good. I’d give it a Five out of 10. But honestly two for $13.80 isn’t worth it for that much money for two they should be a lot bigger with more cheese, not worth the second trip.
