Highly recommend! This seems to be one of those hidden gems spots, tucked away in a plaza but worth the trip.
The menu has an assortment of option from different regions in India but the menu does seem to be Southern region dominant, there are also Indo-Chinese fusion options. A selection of beer that includes the usual suspects as well as a few traditional Indian beers, or at least they look the part.
If you’re new to Indian food then ask for a recommendation but, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong with the Chicken Tikka Masala. My order was packed with flavor and don’t be afraid to turn up the level on spicy as medium is truly medium. The cheese naan was fluffy and soft and a perfect compliment to the meal.
The atmosphere is simple yet immersive.
The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I had an amazing experience here at Matkabar. This was my first time having Indian food and it was very tasty. The mango lemonade was the best lemonade I’ve ever had (not exaggerating) the butter chicken was very flavorful and the portions were more than expected. K our waiter was very friendly and made sure to give us suggestions on things to try. The atmosphere was very clean and beautiful. We’ll definitely be back 🙂

Rose was an excellent server. Very attentive and kind! The restaurant is beautiful. However, it was my first time eating Indian food, and I did not like it. I was trying something new. I’m sure I won’t return, but if you go, ask for Rose.

I have no frame of reference for how authentic the food is, but WOW, was it amazing. The chicken tikka masala was some of the best i have had. The vindaloo lamb was phenomenal. The naan complimented the food just perfectly. The garlic chili naan is a bit spicy so dont get it if spice isnt your thing.

The atmosphere decor is top tier, the waiters are very nice and the bartender Ragu is wonderful. Ragu makes the hell out of the drinks, and the food is very flavorful and fresh. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend

The food was amazing, but double check the drinks you’re ordering. We ordered something without really understanding what it was and it was more or less a glass of tatziki sauce. It’s our fault entirely but the Chicken Korma was fantastic and so was the Paneer Tikka!

Loved everything about this restaurant. Really delicious meal in a fantastic atmosphere with very personable service. Only critique is the saag paneer wasn’t quite as flavorful as other places I’ve had it. But the other dishes we got – chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, goat curry, and aloo cholee – and all were stellar.

We were a party of 5 people that went here for dinner and ordered a bunch of items. Chaat items especially dahi puri was very good. Paneer tikka was good an spicy. Kashmiri Naan was so so, too sweet like they used some jelly in it. Malai kofta was good but the balls were a little hard. Overall food was great. Service was OK, since the place aa busy. Will definitely go back if I’m in the area.
