Nice people, a local car hop style burger place. I ordered the standard cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, it was a good size at a fair price and tasted pretty good! The burger had layers of crispy; the griddled meat with crispy edge meat candy and the nicely toasted buns. They hit all the right burger textures! Service was fast and friendly too

It’s an old school drive in w option to sit at the tables. The menu, clean cut to the point and with plenty options including non burger items. Cheeseburger was delicious we got the 2 cheeseburger deal, the chili dog w cheese and onions (20/10) and a lemonade. They also have this thing called a lemon squeeze which is practically shaved ice with fresh lemon juice and they give you a small container of salt. It is the craziest thing to me, but people are actually out here ordering this so I had to order it to find out for myself. I ate it and enjoyed it too. They take both cash and card, always a must in Alamogordo.

The hamburgers and fries were delicious and prices very affordable! It is a great hole in the wall! We highly recommend stopping and supporting a local business. They greet you and serve you at your car unless you want to walk up.

HiDHo is one of those places you stop by cause you’re driving through and want some food!!! They have some pretty good burgers for the drive up style it is. My only complaint was they didn’t have ketchup when I was there. How is no ketchup available at all possible? Haha. I would love to stop by again when driving through!

2 star only because my wife’s chili cheese fries had this much in it. My Mayton burger that I wanted no tomato had it, and they didn’t add the green Chile but charged me for it. Kids meals were the only ones they got right.

Food: The burger is under-seasoned and needs condiments, and is dry. As someone who is gluten-free I got it without bread. So they are accommodating with that but don’t have gluten-free bread.
Service: the man who took out orders was quick and nice. He did make some mistakes, I ordered a Diet Pepsi (personal preference) and never got it. A few of us didn’t get meal tags to pay so we had to talk to the cashier and tell them what we ordered.
Atmosphere: It all takes place in your car or outside. The tables were not clean. And very warndown. There was only 1 server so I’ll assume he was too busy with taking orders he didn’t have time to quickly wipe down the tables.

Hi-D-Ho definitely has a style of it’s own.
The steak fingers, fries, and salad, were all very good. The staff were also very friendly.
The only negative things were we wanted chicken fingers, but they were out of stock, and the trash can was over flowing, but I would still recommend this very cool old time drive in, and we will definitely eat there again the next time we are in Alamogordo.

They come to your car or a table to take your order. Service was quick and friendly. Food was great, very tasty and big portions. Price was good, especially if you pay cash. He had chicken tacos…so tasty. I had a double teeny burger. It was huge. Can’t imagine how big a regular burger would have been. Shake was big, delicious and very thick.

Passing through on a road trip, we were in need of some food. We had a hankering for a burger and decided to give Hi-D-Ho Drive in a chance. The food hit the spot and did not disappoint. We both went with the mayton burger. The texas toast was toasted just right, with no burn or char. Burger pattie was huge and busting out the toast. Tbh the pattie could have been seasoned a bit more but thats just preference. The cheese, bacon and veggies made up the flavor. The star of the show were the fries, with the perfect crunch to the bite. If you’re a local or just a passersby, please stop on by and give it a try for yourself. Won’t be disappointed
