Our dining party consisted of five people on a Sunday afternoon at 12 noon.
Food (4/5): Some items were 5/5 stars, others 4/5 and o
5/5: The Blooming Onion, is a “go-to” appetizer for us. We order it almost every time! We also love the sweet potato and Alice Spring Chicken.
4/5: The bread and butter that is served when you place your order is good (not great). The Cheeseburger is rated 4 stars because the hamburger patty is thin and doesn’t have a ton of substance. The Cobb salad with breaded chicken was good with a large portion size. The side of Mac-n-Cheese is also a good portion, although it lacks flavor.
Service(5/5): our server was fantastic. She was regularly checking in to see if we needed anything and got us what we needed when asked. She was engaged and friendly.
Atmosphere (4/5): we had privacy because we were sitting in a bench, but the music was a little too loud for our taste. The parking lot is great. It makes it easily accessible.

Brought my steak-loving, extremely picky child here and she loves the prime rib.
Service is good, drinks get you buzzed, and food portions are phenomenal. I ordered the outback shrimps appetizer and I can’t believe how many shrimps were on the plate. Sides came out hot, steak was cooked to perfection, and refills were frequent.
In a world that’s sacrificing service, quality, and portions to stay afloat, this place sets the example of how customers deserve to be treated. To say we feel respected is an understatement. We will be back!!

Our waiter was great! Bread warm and tasty i haven’t had the blooming onion in years it was just as good as i remember. I ordered the new garlic bites they were ok way too much garlic for my liking. My friend ordered chili, steak and potato he enjoyed it. Dessert was very good. Would definitely go back

This is my first time at this Outback location. Experience was great. Our associate Mike was just wonderful. He checked on us occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed and refilled our drinks. He explained all the dishes so well and just a very pleasant person. It was a great lunch so relaxed and well taken care of. The chicken wings were just perfect. I am very picky with my wings. i have eaten wings at a lot of good places, but they were cooked to perfection. All other dishes we ordered were good too. Overall, it was a great experience. We were pleased with our recent visit to this Outback and here is why. First, we were immediately greeted with a friendly staff who sat us immediately. Our server was very nice and the service was very good. We ordered the sirloin steak, chicken Caesar salad and the Alice chicken. The food came out quickly, and exactly how we ordered it. Great job and would recommend visiting.

I usually don’t frequent that many chain restaurants, but I have to say Outback Steakhouse is very good. I love their appetizers. Some of my favorites are the Aussie cheese fries, coconut shrimp, and the steakhouse Mac and cheese bites. Today I had their Mac and cheese bites for the first time, and they were delicious! The Mac and cheese was creamy on the inside, and it was fried to a crisp in the outside. I ordered the filet mignon for dinner with a sweet potato side and mixed vegetables. The filet mignon was cooked well just like I asked. The seasoning Outback uses for their steaks is really tasty. The sweet potato side is usually really good, but today it wasn’t that great. It’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. It was really mushy, and they barely put any brown sugar on it this time. For dessert I had the chocolate thunder from down under. The brownie was so delicious! My server was very nice and helpful. I recommend Outback Steakhouse in Old Bridge!

The food was mostly good. Apps were good, most meals good, but I could not get over the chicken sandwich I got as my meal. The chicken was so thin that the pickles were about the same thickness. The tomato was bigger than the chicken.

We visited Outback Steakhouse located at 1397 US Hwy 9, Old Bridge, NJ on Saturday, 1/22/22 around 5:45 pm. It was a busy time on a weekend, but we called ahead to avoid a long wait time. Even though it was busy, there was plenty of parking. They have a wheelchair accessible ramp for those who may require it. We arrived on time & they texted us within 5 minutes or less to be seated. There is plenty of seating inside if you choose to wait in there. They were extremely friendly & it was a nice environment. The waitress came to the table to take our order within minutes, bringing us warm bread & butter. They have quite a nice menu selection (something for everyone.) from drinks, appetizers, dinner & dessert. Our order came out in a timely fashion & was absolutely delicious!! The steak was a nice cut, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I honestly can’t complain about anything! Our waitress was attentive, checking on us regularly to see if we needed anything. The place seemed clean (can’t review the bathroom – didn’t visit it). Kudos to the employees of this establishment & management – everyone seemed happy & it shows.
We would highly recommend this Outback Steakhouse – Old Bridge location to others. Great portions & prices as well. We eat out quite a bit & we were pleasantly surprised with this excellent service. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Call ahead to avoid a long wait.
