I have visited this restaurant several times and they always are wonderful! The server was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu well. The waffle was plated very nicely and both dishes I had were delicious. Very tasty food combinations and a a solid menu. Always a treat to enjoy for brunch or breakfast!

A perfect place for a breakfast! Spent 3 mornings in ABQ and went to this place two times and both of them were great experience. Tasty food, friendly service and all for reasonable prices. Might get crowdy on weekends, but the staff made the best to accommodate me at the shortest time possible. Really enjoyed and if I may have another possibility to get there, I will definitely come again.

We took my sister here for a terrific birthday brunch last Sunday– The atmosphere is welcoming, and rich with local decor. Our wait person, Lily is so warm, conversant and professional–she made our day with her great friendly service–Oh, and the food is scrumptious, too! I had a loaded margarita (pictured) and huevos rancheros–fantastico! This place has a well-deserved great reputation and was very busy! You can call ahead and make reservations to help with wait times.

I took my mom + aunt to Sunnyside Up for brunch. Love the waiting list (you can add yourself and it shows how many people are ahead of you texts you when a table is ready) and wish other places would utilize this system! We were seated in Henry’s section, and he was fabulous! He said he had only been working there for 2 weeks, and he seems to love what he’s doing. Food was really good too! Pictured here is the sweet potato hash.

I stopped in today before I travel back home and I am glad I did! My waitress, Kayla, was friendly, attentive and even remembered my name! All of the staff were pleasant and made the atmosphere great. The overall experience was phenomenal. I opted for the gluten free eggs Benedict and was not disappointed! If I ever return to Albuquerque I will be back in!

This was my first time and I love it. It had a great menu ,plenty of options. Reasonable priced with big portions! Its not big on the inside but great for a family. It reminds me of some of favorite breakfast spots back home.

We went to the Rio Grande Country Dance Festival, Feb 2025 last year and my country dance partner loved this breakfast location so much that we made a detour to eat here again. In Tempe, AZ, at the UCWDC World Championships, Dec 2025 we won (3) World Championships in the Newcomer Division. The place was packed, as everytime we have ever gone, so I parked my 19 foot F-250 truck in the adjacent hotel parking lot.

This is my most favorite place to have breakfast. I went in today because it was my birthday. I was sitting by myself. The overwhelming human emotion took hold , and I started to cry. The realization of being 65 years old and being by myself was at that moment too much for me to handle. I tried to be discrete of course. In just a few minutes the hostess came over and told me happy birthday. Obviously the waitress had told her it was my birthday. She then asked me if everything was okay. I told her I was sad because I was by myself on my birthday. What I did not tell her was it was my 65 birthday. ( in most circles that’s supposed to be a special day) the?
Hostess then asked if she could give me a hug , I said yes then I started to cry more. When the waitress brought me my bill the total was zero. The hostess had given me a free breakfast. I am very poor and I had saved money just to go there to eat for my special day.
Human kindness is still alive!!! To my beautiful red headed hostess. Thank you again so much

Pictured is the churro waffle. This is probably the best waffle I have had in my life. Prices are reasonable. Wait times seem like they could be long so I would get in early. I will definitely be back here to try out the full menu.

The food portion is huge. The picture shown is 1/2. The food quality was okay. The breakfast steak fajitas were rubbery when chewing and too much spice. The iced hazelnut coffee was as good as star bucks. They use cheap barefoot champagne for their mimosas. Check out and check in area very tight squeeze and slow. Amazing server!
