I enjoyed a pretty nice beer here one night. It was their Ypsi High PA, and I found it quite solid. I’ve stopped here twice now, and I’ve always found the staff quite friendly and the place gets an eclectic clientele. It has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely suggest them for a nice casual drink.

Amazing location in Depot Town. Gravel patio with umbrellas and plenty of additional seating along the sidewalk. Nice people and plenty of great artists!

In search of a unique brew at a local brewery, there were several types of beer which are common at most craft breweries (ales, stout, etc.). They feature a number of cocktails which is different for a typical craft brewery, but just not what I was hoping or looking for – some unique beer.

My husband and I stopped by for a happy hour beer on a Friday night. We wanted to support local spots and had never tried this place before. It was empty, so we thought we’d give it a try. The bartender asked, “First time here?” We said yes, but she was busy talking to someone else and barely engaged with us even after they walked out the door, which felt unwelcoming for being first-timers.
We ordered beers, and one came with heavy sediment filling the glass. My husband asked about it, and the bartender said it was normal, but it’s not what I would’ve expected from an $8 beer. He couldn’t finish the last third of it due to the heavy buildup.
Overall, the vibe wasn’t there. We wouldn’t recommend it.

This is such a great spot! Reasonable drink prices and always a great place to host an event! I’ve been to a couple different events and they have always been accommodating to us as guests. The bar staff, especially on Tuesday night karaoke, are always a good time and really personable. Really love the vibe of this place It feels like an important spot in the community. Cherry smash drink is also my favorite !

I went there about a year ago on vacation in Michigan. And it was absolutely phenomenal. Some amazing beer. Great people. And just the right vibe for a brewery. Chill but with enough going on that you’re not bored. Plus the bartenders were knowledgeable about the beer. And they gave great recommendations. Loved it.

Update: I have changed my review to 5 stars. This is a wonderful establishment that continually gives back to the community and has great employees. I love coming here in the warmer months and sitting outside. Such a great spot in Depot Town. Also I believe they took my previous review into consideration and altered their pricing a bit; I think it’s pretty amazing that they listen to their customers like that! The beer is great and I love the vibe of the place. I recommend it to everyone that is unfamiliar and will continue to do so.

I used to really enjoy this place but probably won’t visit much anymore. Their beers used to be very affordable (I think $3.75?), and I really enjoyed some of them, but they’ve now raised the prices to $5 per beer. I can get beer for that price anywhere, so this place no longer stands out/is special. It’s unfortunate because I thought it was a really cool little brewery. Can find better deals elsewhere.

Terrific homemade libations + awesome owners and staff with wonderful karaoke, hosted by Boom Kat, 8-1130p on Tuesdays in a sweet family-friendly space! No food served there BUT they welcome you to bring your own or order in. Always supporting local charities especially the arts. You’ll see different local artists’ exhibitions on display there always. ❤️ The BEST spot in Ypsi!
