Stopped in for lunch. Not very busy, but maybe because of all of the construction going in the area. The menu consists of seafood items mostly, with an emphasis on shrimp. Chips and salsa to start were very good. The chips especially. Fresh, warm, and with the right amount of salt. Ordered guacamole. Fresh but a bit on the bland side. Tried the shrimp empanadas. Excellent! Hand made and great flavor. Definitely a must. Then ordered chicken fajitas and the camarones encabronados. Fajitas were pretty good. Lots of bell peppers and onions. Huge plus. The camarones encabronados dish was good, but very spicy. I like spicy dishes. But if you don’t really like spicy, be careful.
Overall pretty good. I think this place was a Taqueria Mexico prior to what it is now. Might be the same ownership, not sure. But did recognize some of the same staff as before. Will be back as there are so many items that looked worth trying.

We enjoyed our first visit! We had to wait a bit, but it was definitely worth it. Seafood was delicious,their live music made the ambiance feel joyful. I would rate a 10/10.

As soon as we came into the restaurant, it was very open as far as seating. They had outdoor seating, we went at night. So we did not sit outside, but they do have a nice outdoor area to sit at the waitress was very welcoming. She gave us a lot of ideas on menu items and drink options. The drinks were amazing. We ordered a spicy michelada and a pineapple sensation, and that is actually brought out to you in a fresh pineapple, and so that was nice and refreshing. The food was amazing. We got the crab boil and the only thing I can say about the crab boil is that the sauce that the crab boil is cooked in was a little spicy, but it was also sweet. And I like my crab boil sauce to be spicy with a Cajun kick. But other than that, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere. It was just as good. This is a place I will definitely want to come back to. We ended our meal with a spicy

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The food quality and taste was phenomenal! The staff were wonderful, attentive, and fast! We were super impressed with Noelia, Marie, and Graciela (spelling). We will go back and bring our friends!

If you want ooey gooey hot plates of Mexi food like enchiladas, this ain’t the place. But they do have good seafood-based Latin dishes. I got the seafood tostada. It wasn’t really what I expected– it was basically a deconstructed tostada. And the topping that normally would be on the shell was more in a chilled salad form. It tasted good, but was just hoping for something different. My friend got one of those big shrimp cocktails that are kind of in a spicy red beer type of beverage. She really enjoyed it.

Came in for their new location’s ” Pre- soft launch” and sat at the bar. Both bartenders, Ivan & Mauricio were amazing, very outgoing, friendly and attentive. The drinks we ordered were La Fresita, which was very refreshing with a fabulous presentation & El Misterio del mar, which was a tropical & beautifully balanced drink. We had the Tostada de Ceviche & Aguachile de Camaron & Pulpo con Salsa Negra. Both dishes were delicious & fresh, which is surprising in the mid-west. The food is absolutely worth having again, however the service from Ivan & Mauricio sealed the deal for us! Will be back again soon!

Ordered a shrimp ceviche plate and we will not be back. The shrimp were not deveined. This is a lazy “crappy” oversight that tells me they don’t really care. The flavors of everything but the shrimp were perfect. I ate one shrimp, tasted the minerally poo, and went to the bathroom to throw up. My wife and I took the rest to go to be polite. Fed the rest of the huge plate of shrimp to out Shepherd, and with that, we won’t be back. This is not a seafood oriented place I can respect, because of sheer laziness and lack of detail.

Food was excellent but the service was not. The server was too busy chatting with co workers and forgot my drink from the bar. We had to stop another server to please give us hot sauce. We definitely want to be back in hopes that the service is better.

Fantastic place for seafood! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to Steven at the bar—he was amazing and really elevated our experience. Highly recommend!
