First I loved the convenience of this restaurant, it situated at a perfect corner where you can walk by from different streets that making the restaurant easily recognized. Second, I love the servers who are in their Middle Ages & orders which impressed me how efficient everyone works. Last bit not least, the foods are over all good. 8/10 rated in my opinion just because 1 out of 6 dishes I ordered that not that well prepared just as the soup base too simple & not quite authentic among Vietnamese dishes from central of VietNam. I have to said jobs well done with such a various menu. Strongly recommended this restaurant to everyone. Will come back soon ❤️

Most friendliest staff ever!!! I wish I could give a higher rating for service! Loved the fresh shrimp spring rolls. I got the beef noodle soup and it was delicious! Very large portion, so come hungry.

Came to this restaurant as a couple years ago my mom visited and said the food was good. Menu is pretty extensive with sections for pho, vermicelli noodles, appetizers, banh mi, salads, spring rolls, porridge, rice dishes, drinks, smoothies, and more. The restaurant is quite big and can hold probably around 40 people or even more at it’s highest.

I got their Pho With Beef & Flank which was awesome. Soup was good, portion was good, and meat with good. Before the food arrives they serve you with a plate of mint leaves and bean sprouts which you can eat by themselves or with your food. (especially good with pho) Overall, a high recommendation for a lunch/dinner.

Tank Noodle is simply the best food of its class in the quad state area. I’ve been coming for years and they’ve never once changed or deviated from a recipe or its quality.

The prices are good based on the enormous portions, everything is always fresh as can be, and the staff is the friendliest around. Go to other spots in the neighborhood and you’ll simply fafo.

A little limerick you can recite as you skip to and fro over to this gem:

“The Tank is dank, and I’ll have myself to thank.”

I was in the place the last day it was open and I really did not like the pho at all, I am a frequent client with my family and I had never had a very strong complaint. But that day from the service of the waitress. with her attitude and questioning my order , even the flavor of the pho had no flavor and brought me the size that she wanted. My son wanted a drink of mamgo and she told him no better drink this one not that. Then, annoyed, I told him not to swallow the drink. When I paid my bill, it was $125. for 2 pho small,1 big, a coke and a smoote. Because they already charge a 20% tip automatically. I will definitely not come back.

I’ve traveled all over the greater Chicagoland area for Vietnamese food. Exploring most of the highest recommended pho shops. Tank in my opinion has the best food. The negative reviews are all about politics. Not about product or service. 25 yr regular customer.

Had a great time eating at this location I spent $80 including tip for two. It was great food, good service and a really nice atmosphere. I would recommend if you’re thinking of coming here to plan and look for parking. We had a hard time finding parking space. But other than that everything was delicious.

I was excited to try Tank Noodle based on the hype about their pho and spring rolls, but this place was a total disaster. The portions looked generous at first glance, but the food tasted off, like it had been sitting out too long. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with lemongrass and shrimp, and it was bland and greasy. Worse, just a couple hours after eating, I felt horribly sick, nauseous, stomach cramps, the works. Probably food poisoning from the “fresh” ingredients they boast about. Avoid this spot unless you want to spend your night regretting it. Service was rushed, and the prices aren’t worth the risk.

Dropped by this pho place on a Saturday afternoon—no wait, chill vibe, not crowded at all. Tried the house special pho and it was solid. The broth was rich and beefy, meat portions were generous, and the fresh garnishes (basil, sprouts, jalapeños) really hit the spot.

Also had the house special banh mi—crispy bread, tasty pâté, and flavorful meat. Everything was on point.

Service was great too—our server was super nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend if you’re craving pho. Will be coming back for sure!

I really disappointed with our experience today , To be honest, I’m not very pleased with the service. the food is too salty and the staff is very unfriendly. french fries charge 8 dollars something is very high priced ,and i ordered a Vietnamese milk tea(8 dollars) I told the her i want a less ice, they gave me less ice went my drink comes ,my milk tea is look someone drink a big sip is feel like funny ( if the customer said less ice ,went the drink came look some one drink a big sip ) did you feel happy? you guy should let me know or you can pour my drink in the small cup. i finish my meals and i got my check, me waitress makes me feel unhappy that ladies around(40-50 years old)ladies she is very unfriendly I paid for the cash, I take a while to Counting Money because i have a lot of one dollars bill , that ladies feel I take a long time to Counting Money .went she get my bill She asked me did you tipped. That was so rude.(I tell her i ready tipped i told her my cash is more the subtotal and I left the tips ) I never had the experience like this is she is rule asking for the tips and she also count my money in front of me.
