I can’t remember the waitress name, but was a cool lady, pretty smile, the food was good and plenty of seating was available at the time. I only have a picture of the birthday dessert. It was extra rich, probably would be good to check your sugar levels afterwards if you deal with that. It was pretty good though.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this location.
A birthday dessert was brought to the table without any warning that it contained nuts. After taking a bite, I asked what type of nuts were in the brownie, and neither the server nor the manager could tell me. I am allergic to walnuts, so this was extremely alarming.
While Katie had the card reader, I asked her to cancel the transaction because I wanted to speak with a manager before paying. She left to get the manager but never informed us that the payment had already gone through until after we spoke with the manager. Katie then stated that she “doesn’t get paid enough for this,” which felt unprofessional given the situation involving a food allergy.
When the manager, Michelle, came over, I was told there was nothing they could do besides offer a coupon for next time. I explained that I would not be returning after experiencing a situation involving an undisclosed allergen.
Food allergies are serious, and customers should be clearly informed when desserts contain common allergens like nuts — especially when the item is brought out without being ordered.
This situation felt dismissive and unsafe. I hope this location improves staff training around allergy awareness, communication, and how allergy concerns are handled.

Sally at Southgate Applebee’s was absolutely fantastic! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Our drinks were always full, the food came out exactly right, and she checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. Sally’s positive attitude really made the experience enjoyable, and it’s clear she cares about great customer service. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her as our server again!

If you go here, you HAVE to request Jaden!! He is so charming and wonderful, he’ll treat you like a friend. My wife and I have been coming in here for YEARS and we are going to have to request him every time now. Also, the O-M-Cheeseburger is the best burger I have ever had literally in my entire life. I was tired and exhausted when I came in and I feel so much more alive with how wonderful this visit was and I am 100% not even kidding.

Went to bdubs next door but it was an hour wait so I ended up at Applebees, although I was really craving bdubs, Jessica(my server) did a really good job making myself and my part of 10 comfortable. She was really attentive and kept checking in on us. Also the hosts up front were really nice. Really yummy in my tummy.

Our server Alex had outstanding service. She had a great attitude. You could tell she enjoyed her job and genuinely cared about making her customers experience the best it could be. Taking extra time to go over options on the menu. This was consistent with every table she serviced.

Had dinner with the family, had the bourbon chicken with shrimp, tasted good but only 4 small shrimps doesn’t even look like the picture on the menu. Wife’s soup was not even hot, she still ate it. Server was very nice. That was my experience on that day. Still a good place to go..
Had dinner today on Easter day. Service was great.
