The nachos with both cheeses is out of this world good. And the margarita flavors! Omg. Try the pomegranate frozen margarita. It’s delish.
Fried ice cream is ok.
Please note that they charge for replacing meat for fajitas.
They serve complimentary chips and salsa.
Note: Mexican Pizza is no longer on the menu.
I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with sides of chile mashed potatoes and black beans, while my dining partner had the Machaca Taco plate with calabacitas and chile mashed. Honestly, everything was spot-on—no complaints at all. Our server was fantastic, the vibe was laid-back and welcoming, and the cocktails were top-notch. You have to try the Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita!
We tried to sit outside, but although it’s a shaded patio, our table was in the sun, and it was frying my back. Our server, Delaney, was very understanding and quickly got us a table inside. She was very attentive and friendly, checking back with us a number of times to see how things were going.
If you have not yet tried La Ristra, get ‘er done!
2/28/22: Very good and love the decor! The parking lots is manicured and well-paved, with abundant spaces. We enjoyed an early Saturday meal, were seated immediately, with wonderful service. I didn’t research La Ristra well enough beforehand to know it was a lot of red / green chile (which I don’t like) but have always been able to tolerate if the food is good enough.
Although this virgin visit I ordered the stuffed sopapilla, absent of chiles. The margarita flight was more than we expected, meaning the drinks were larger, which was a pleasant surprise.
All the food came out hot and delicious. The side of corn had a lovely flavor. We opted not to go for a dessert although we saw a table beside had the fried ice cream. We almost broke down because it looked so damn good, but we had too many Girl Scout cookies at home. LOL!
I would visit La Ristra again for sure.
