Most of the food at Colt is really good. The lean brisket is a little dry but the regular brisket is really nice. The fish and chips were soggy but then that’s probably not the specialty at the restaurant you can smell the meat smoking a mile away the other food we got was wonderful and we enjoyed our visit with friends. It would be nice if there were more tables for large groups, we were by the kitchen door and bathroom. The people are always nice and friendly.

Always amazing to eat at Colt. Drove up from Phoenix for lunch and we have never been disappointed. Wanted to head to New location but figured why drive a bit longer when we could eat now. Place was clean, staff friendly and food was amazing. Been working through the menu each time we visit. Smoked bbq chicken sandwich and the Philly cheese steak were amazing.. and the bar was refreshing!!

The burgers here are phenomenal! The fries were horrible though. Over cooked like they were cooked for an order that was cancelled, forgot about and fried again to get them hot again. Almost like charred sticks of potatoes. I used to cook fries professionally for years, it could have been an off day for them here but maybe I’ll try them again in 6 months or so. Everything is self service so once fully autonomous cooking is perfected this place is already designed for the transition. Portions are pretty good sized and they use high quality beef here. I’ll definitely be back, just NOT for the fries. Also the brisket is really good as well.

Colt grill and barbecue is one of the best barbecue restaurants in the state of Arizona that is reasonably priced. They have an extensive menu of barbecue items and non-barbecue items that are fantastic. I recommend the brisket, the brisket sandwich the smoked turkey the mac & cheese is fantastic with the breadcrumbs and bacon, and the smoked turkey was delicious. We also got a couple sampler platters that were very good as well to the ambience in the restaurant works very well with Arizona and the cowboy feel in the huge smokers on the patio. When I’m in Preskett Valley I’m definitely coming back again. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for reading my Google

Cheeseburgers, pulled pork sandwich, ribs were some of the excellent dishes we enjoyed, also garlic fries and ranch beans very good. The Mac and cheese was too dried out and peach Cobbler was somewhat bland. Although a great atmosphere, friendly service and look forward to our next meal here.

I freakin love this place. Chill relaxed BBQ but with elevated menu options, cocktail bar, and ambiance. Food is awesome. Drinks are great (and cheap!!) but my real gauge of a smoke joint is the sides and sauces and they NAIL those!

The food was 9/10, I believe the mac n cheese was something to be desired but that’s just my personal preference. However, the bar service took this to a solid 10/10. The bartender was a blonde woman maybe early 40s, and she was an absolute doll. She was attentive and friendly, great conversation, and treated me like I’d been here 100 times even though this was my first time.
It’s clean, great food, very comforting atmosphere. This place is great.

OK I was sold when I arrived and they had a giant smoker smoking outside. I really couldn’t decide what I wanted so I went all in for the sampler platter, and a side of three ribs, can I say, oink, oink. I have to tell you I was a disappointed with the sausage, turkey, pulled pork, brisket, and the options of sauces were fabulous. I had a drink there called the “patriot”. Sally made it. I loved Sally and Jonny. what a team if I was ever to open up my own place, I would have to steal them. Without a doubt this is one of my favorite restaurants that I have eaten in a while. 12* and by the way, after I ordered my food, sit down on my table, I turned around, and there was a line out of the door. Don’t forget to order your freshly made cookies.
