Came here for the vegan bbq and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious! We had the vegan bbq sandwiches, one with the “beef” and the other with the Beyond sausage. We also had the vegan potato salad and baked beans and they were also delicious! Service was exceptional and staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is very welcoming and family friendly. But disappointed in the food. Mac& cheese is very bland it’s giving Velveeta. The meat is drowning in sauce to cover the fact that the meat is under seasoned. Not sure. The set up is slightly confusing but if you have a bit of common sense you can figure it out. The staff are very nice and extremely welcoming. Unfortunately, the food is just not great and I won’t be back. Thanks for being a part of the community!

The food was delicious. Desserts were not too sweet and tasted home made more sure bought. The meat was tender, tasty and the sauces were subtle and good. I enjoyed the atmosphere and eating area. The decorations were homey.

First-Time Visit – Definitely Coming Back!
Tried Central Texas Style BBQ for the first time, and I can honestly say it lived up to the hype! The meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor — I had the 3 meat dinner plate with brisket, jalapeno sausage,and ribs. The sides (especially the mac and cheese and potato casserole) really hit the spot.
I had the carrot cake here for desert, and wow—it did not disappoint! Moist and dense, perfectly spiced, and loaded with just the right amount of sweetness. The cream cheese frosting was rich and creamy without being overpowering. Every bite was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. It was the perfect ending to my meal.
I was surprised by the cafeteria style of ordering the food but overall the staff was friendly, service was quick, and the atmosphere and set up was really homey and welcoming — exactly what you’d want in a BBQ spot. Looking forward to trying more from the menu next time. Highly recommend if you’re a fan of real Southern BBQ!

I hardly ever leave reviews because Central has always been spot on on their food and hospitality. Still is. This review is specifically for the new app. I gave them a great compliment on the new app and how easy it was to use. She told me oh wow I didn’t even know we had one. I said it anew I guess. I just downloaded it tonight. Well after we ate our delicious food I noticed that I paid more than my usual orders. I looked and the apps prices are a dollar more than regular prices. I purchased several items. This disappointed me but it’s my fault for not worrying about it since CB has been our spot for decades. Just be aware the app if part of door dash not direct. That way you save your frustration 🙁 this review is only for the new app. We love this place. I wish I would have just called it in like I always do 🙁

I like the vegan options. The jackfruit sandwich, potato salad, and baked beans were very good. I also had the cornbread which was amazing. My friend had the pudding which she said was very good. Cozy vibes and there was live music.

I’ve been wanting to come here for some time now, and when an episode of Good Taste TV aired with this restaurant being a part of the show, I definitely had to give this place a try. We ended up getting everything delivered. We just didn’t feel like heading out. The bbq sauce had a nice smokey favor to it. It’s definitely a more savory taste, then sweet. I would love to try this restaurant again and maybe the next time around. We’ll actually sit down at a table and be around the service and atmosphere, but for right now, it’s an average of 3. ::UPDATE:: so we went back and sat down to eat. It’s like eating at your neighbors house, that does really great bbq. And now the atmosphere has to be turned into a 5, Food into a 5, and the service into a 5. And if you have never been. Stand in line, order your plate at the window, next order your sides, keep on sliding to the register, and pay. And the bags and the containers left on the table are for your leftovers.

Soo this place popped up on a Google search for BBQ near me, I must say it wasn’t horrible BUT it just wasn’t what I was expecting!! After looking at the reviews I thought I ran across a hidden gem however I must say I’ve had better!! I ordered a Chopped Beef sandwich and a loaded Chopped beef potato with a small Root Beer for $29 and some change, now besides almost spending 30 bucks the entrees I selected could’ve been 10x better the potato was decent the amount of sour cream, cheese and chives could’ve been more considering the potato is swimming in chopped beef juice! Overall I give it a 6 out of 10 NOT bad BUT I kno plenty of better places for BBQ! The inside is a small “iykyk” kinda place, and the staff was welcoming
