I went here with one of my best girlfriends to sit and eat brunch. The workers and the main guy who serves, goober is so incredibly nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is so cozy and retro we put money in the jukebox and danced on the floor and hula hooped in the restaurant. We ordered one milkshake to share and he gave us two separate well sized cup and a tin of ice cream and we thought he gave us two but he didn’t, it was $7.50. Everything about this place is so friendly and a throwback to the 50’s. Highly recommended, I will be coming back!

Come here for the atmosphere not the food. We got the California burrito and the big bopper. They were basically the same thing, eggs hash browns and bacon. The burrito was decent but that was because it comes with chilli on top. The big bopper was bland and needed salt pepper and ketchup to make it tolerable.

The shakes were delicious, our server was spectacular, and the food was decent. Our meals were definitely not healthy and were heavy. We took plenty of leftovers home with us.
We went back for breakfast and enjoyed that food much more.
We went back for breakfast a second time, and they were understaffed. Food wait time and quality and service reflected that.

It’s a unique place, I really like the throwback feel of this place. Service was great, our server “Spice” was really nice. The menu has all the diner classics. Food was hot and plentiful. Prices are very reasonable. We had a very good experience, highly recommended.

Gunther Toody’s: Good Grub, Great Vibes, and a Server Who Deserves a Raise
I love diners—especially the nostalgic kind where you half expect to see Elvis walk in and order a milkshake. Gunther Toody’s in Colorado Springs totally delivers on that 1950s vibe. The menu has all the classic diner fare you’d expect—burgers, fries, breakfast all day—and the food is exactly what it should be: tasty, comforting, and just greasy enough to remind you you’re not at a salad bar.
Now let’s talk about the real star of our visit: our server, Honey. First of all, yes—her name is Honey, and yes—it’s perfect. Turns out it was only her third day on the job (which she only revealed when I asked her) but she handled the whole shift like she owned the place. There was a small hiccup from the kitchen—nothing dramatic—and Honey, along with a helpful crew, took care of it quickly and with charm.
She was friendly, fast, and clearly already had the place figured out. If this is what she’s like on day three, I can’t imagine what a powerhouse she’ll be in a few weeks.
Bottom line: Come for the milkshakes and diner feels, stay for the service. And if you’re lucky enough to get Honey, you’re in good hands.

We have enjoyed both our visits to this diner. Staff is great and attentive, the food is good and the place looks like something out of a movie. Their menu has lots of food options including breakfast being served all day. They also have adult milkshakes and I can’t wait to try one! We’ve tried the coffee, pork chop breakfast, chicken wrap, hotcakes, french toast and the California burrito, everything was great! We also like that they have different specials each day of the week and you can’t beat their prices. This is so much better than those big name breakfast chains.

This diner is absolutely amazing! The food was great and incredibly tasty, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Our server, Spice, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
We were also touched by a very kind gesture while dining here: someone anonymously paid for our family’s meal, which truly made our day and speaks volumes about the welcoming spirit of this place.
Gunther Toody’s in Colorado Springs delivered an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This diner located in Colorado Springs, Colorado has a very nice 50s atmosphere inside and out. The staff is very professional and friendly. The interior design is something best experienced in person. Handicap accommodations are available. The meal I had was served hot and fresh. I recommend visiting here if you are in the area.

First off, the food is amazing for what it is: classic diner prices at an unbeatable price. The Country Fried Steak was delicious and a good sized portion. What really sets this place apart is the service and our server Tweety was absolutely splendid. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate an anniversary with my old lady!
