Great spot! Very popular! We went to Sanibel for a day and needed a spot to eat with our dog. So glad we chose this spot! It’s popular so expect a wait but it’s a great opportunity to walk down by the water and check it all out! We loved the fish and chips and crab cakes! The poblano sauce is a must with everything!! Server was phenomenal and remembered our dog’s name throughout service!

On our recent trip to Cape Coral my family stopped by at Gramma Dot’s Restaurant for lunch initially, and then we had to go back for dinner as well. The highlight was the basket of fish and chips (also served as lunch for dinner). The fish was fresh, lightly breaded, and absolutely delicious. We also had the Captain’s Key Lime Pie which is made in house and was scrumptious.

Beautiful little spot. Food was tasty, good flavor profiles. I am on a mission to try a Rum Runner at each restaurant on this trip. I’m a bit spoiled as The Beacon from Camp Richardson, Lake Tahoe, has hands down the best one I’ve ever had. This Rum Runner was good but juices didn’t taste very fresh. And the lime garnish, yuck. The skin was completely brown. I told the manager just leave the lime off if it looks like that! High attention to detail then a brown lime . Service was a little slow but I couldn’t see how many tables the server had inside. We were sitting outside. Overall, worth a try.

This use to be one of our favorite places. We had to send our fish and chips back. We sat outside on the patio, and they were doing dock work. It was extremely loud. I do highly recommend the coconut shrimp. It was the best we ever had.

Went twice over a week’s stay. Both times were top. The family had calamari, crab cakes, grouper sandwich and lobster roll- all were incredible. Don’t like deep heavy fried seafood, these were light, fresh and well done. Have had quality seafood all over the world, these were best crab cakes ever had. Great, relaxed atmosphere, highly recommend.
