Gabriella was literally the best server I’ve ever had, so attentive but not overbearing, incredibly friendly, and impeccable service. Whatever she gets paid is not enough!
As far as the food, cannot say enough good things. You’d be doing yourself a disservice by not getting the shrimp nachos. My spinach salad was the best salad I’ve ever had, they absolutely loaded it up with goat cheese, beets, an amazing portion of chicken salad, with plenty of dressing on the side. Ugh so yummy. My husband said the bacon jam burger was one of the best he’s ever had too.
For the prices, the portions and flavors of everything just cannot be beat. I’m not sure if it is a from scratch kitchen, but it certainly tastes like it. Would make a trip back to Myrtle Beach just to eat lunch here again. The music and atmosphere was super fun and beachy as well
My sister who is vegan had her salad delivered in a really gorgeous bowl and it looked so good! I am going to share my food but be warned I had began biting into my food and stopped to take my photo We had a very adorable young lady to serve our food and she was a pro at her job, she served with excellence.
The bar area was a little loud and lit (made me laugh), but they were watching all kind of sports! I was outback and viewing and I’m also noisy watching sports!
I didn’t come on an entertainment night, but I know I heard some music one evening as I was passing by!
We all really enjoyed the place and it’s on our favorite list!
And my sister found that bowl and ordered two bowls for me. I will be using them real soon!

Food was alright but Service, Atmosphere, n View were the better part~
Our server was pretty attentive. We saw her less as it got busier but that was to be expected.
Its not my personal vibe. It was very crowded and very loud. I found myself yelling to talk to my friends sitting across the table, but it looks like a happening place if you like live music and such. We left before the band started as its not our thing.
It made the most since because it had everything I wanted on it and I thought I could substitute the “lots and lots” of pimento cheese for avocado or something. When I asked they said no. I asked them to double check with the manager and let them know I have a food allergy and the manager said no. I could take the bun and pimento cheese off and add other things for a dollar. Zero substitutions. It didn’t make sense to me, because if it were a slice of cheese I would get it. But the pimento cheese and a couple slices of avocado or really anything that’s dairy, egg, and soy free would have seemed like a normal trade off. Like I said, River City Cafe substituted everything I asked yesterday and was so kind and understanding about it.
At this point it wasn’t about the money, it was the principal. I just got a side of fries as my meal. Figured it would tide me over until I got back to the hotel to eat. When the manager (Jack) came out to try to explain, I told him I 100% understand their policy. I used to be a server for several years, but my manager was so much more customer focused and customer satisfaction came first. At the end of the day I wasn’t able to get a bun or pimento cheese due to allergies. Asking to throw on a couple slices of avocado on it or if not avocado I would have taken anything. Pickles maybe? But no. I don’t want Jack or anyone to get in trouble, because well he did what he believed to be right. He values policy over customer satisfaction. My diet is so hard, but so worth it for my baby. But man, this is the first time in 7 months that I haven’t had an accommodating restaurant. I hope this review makes its way to the owner so maybe they can consider making exceptions for those who are unable to eat anything on their menu without making a substitution. So if you have no allergies you’ll love this place, if you do have allergies, skip it and go to River City Cafe instead.
