We had our Thanksgiving dinner catered and we could not be more pleased. Not only were the serving sizes more than adequate, the flavor of everything was beyond our expectations! The heating instructions made our turkey, and everything else, taste like it was served right out of the oven!! Most MOIST smoked turkey EVER. And, they added in cranberry sauce and banana pudding to our surprise, and it was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had! Definitely considering ordering our Christmas dinner from them while we’re in Nashville!!

I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich and Mac-and-cheese. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the Mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had.
This restaurant is a little bit pricey for somewhat simple food but the quality is off the charts and it’s but absolutely worth it as an occasional treat.
The staff were super friendly and I love the vibe here. I genuinely wish I was able to go more often but I am always grateful for the times I do get to visit.

This Mission BBQ never fails. The people are so nice, polite and helpful. The food is excellent. My husband and I both have brisket sandwiches this time with different sides. With our sandwiches were right on would taste and juiciness. Love the atmosphere with the military garb in the sayings. We always love coming back

I’ve always had great experiences with Mission, but today was disappointing. When we tried to order three of the 2meat combos we saw online, the cashier seemed confused, which made the ordering process more difficult than usual. In the back, one of the employees was tossing serving spoons in the air as if juggling instead of focusing on preparing the food, which didn’t inspire confidence.
We’re also used to being able to see our food before leaving, but this time everything was bagged and handed to us without the usual check. Since we’ve never had an issue before, we didn’t think much of it—until we arrived at my mother‑in‑law’s house and opened the bags. The brisket was almost entirely fat, the cornbread was burnt, and the salmon was extremely dry.
I called to speak with a manager, but I never received a return call. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, especially considering how consistently good Mission has been in the past.

Placed an online order for Sunday. Pick up was a breeze! Every staff member we encountered was very nice.
We ordered brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, Mac and cheese. It was delicious!
I’m not a barbecue sauce fan but Mission change my mind! Decided to order the Smoky Mountain sauce and man, WOW! It was tangy, smoky and sweet. I’ll be back for sure!!

I stopped at Mission BBQ on Battlefield Blvd for a late lunch. The place wasn’t crowded, so it wasn’t noisy.
The counter service was good. The people at the register were Friendly and Helpful.
My order was prepared quickly, and everything was correct.
I had a slight issue with the meat I ordered. There was much more “moisture” than usual. A server told me the meat was just pulled out, so it was “just rendering”.
I sat down and ate while my food was warm. After a short time, there was a lot of liquid forming on my tray. The taste of everything was great, but there was just too much fat.
One person was walking around checking on the diners. I spoke with her and showed her my tray. She happily listened and then went to the counter and replaced the meat.
I’m grateful for this type of professionalism and customer care.
All of my food was well-prepared and delicious! I’m glad I went there for lunch.
I’m really looking forward to my next meal at Mission BBQ!

This was the first time I ate a mission BBQ and I was Very satisfied with the meal I got. The green beans were a little salty definitely seasoned still good. All the meat I tried was awesome. The Mac and cheese was nice plenty of cheese also seasoned well. Man I don’t even like cornbread but there’s was delicious. I also got the sweet potato pie very good and that dog gone lemonade good God that Thang was tasty man o man. Over all everything was great. I want to thank Mrs. Kim she helped me while I was there explaining what happens after you order the food and stuff. Her customer Service was amazing. And because of her …and the food I will be back.

I feel like this location has a great culture because every time I come here, everyone is so polite, friendly, and helpful. I’m not sure if it’s Mission BBQ’s culture in general or this location specifically but the vibe from the staff is fantastic. One evening, the person at the counter introduced himself by name and said to let him know if I needed anything. Tonight, someone delivered my food to me at my table because I didn’t hear my name being called. Then, she came back after a while to see if I needed anything. I really appreciate the professionalism of this staff. The food is always delicious. I’ll keep coming back. I am a veteran and I love the emphasis on veterans and first responders. Thank you!
