This is a true hole-in-the-wall biker bar with a pretty crummy, no-frills ambiance, and that is exactly the point. The food punches well above the setting. The burgers are solid, and the Reuben I had was genuinely good.
They have draft beer, outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and live music when I visited. It is also conveniently located near the entrance to the Box Canyon off-road trail, making it an ideal stop before or after a ride.
Not fancy, but it delivers where it counts. Easy five-star recommendation.

Where else would you find women line dancing on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:00. The food was good as was the service. Everyone was friendly and prices were decent. This is one or two notches up from your typical biker bar.

Great food! Try the chicken tenders – the breading is amazing! Clam chowder was very good – a meal itself! We had a group of 11 on a Sunday night and the service was quick and we had a huge table for us all.
4 stars because it was smoky where we sat.

LOVE this place! Went there with my cool aunt Cindy and had a great time. The burgers were SO good. We went on a Sunday and JNX were playing…they were one of the best cover bands I have ever seen. Drinks were great too. Did I mention the burgers???

A surprisingly good meal in a small, off the beaten path, kind of place. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was amazing and priced very fairly. The Calamari was of the best I’ve had. The Fish was at least two inches thick, three pieces was more than I could eat. The Chips (fries) were fresh cuts and cooked perfectly. The name might be River Bottom, but the food is high above the water!

I stopped in for a couple of beers, and dinner. There was a good band playing. It’s not my first time here. The other times were great, but this time it wasn’t. I ordered the chicken sandwich that according to the menu, was to have onions and mushrooms on it. I told the bartender I didn’t want either of them. She said don’t worry, it didn’t come with mushrooms. I sat at the end of the bar, where I could see the cook prepare my meal. He was pretty quick at getting it out. But then it sat for more than ten minutes, getting cold, before finally a waitress brought it to me. I looked and sure enough it was loaded with mushrooms. Even though the bar wasn’t full at the time, the bartender couldn’t bother to come and see what was going on. Another waitress finally came by, and I asked for my check, which came to $22 and change. I gave her $20 and said that was enough, and explained why that was all she was getting. BTW, I didn’t touch my meal. She took my money and went to the register. There was no I”m sorry, or can we do something. Nothing! I did drink my “$20 beer” as I sat there watching my meal get cold. In my view… Bad Business! And now I’ll probably never go back. And I talk! I left a review on their website, and realized there is only three or four good reviews we can read. No bad ones. And mine wasn’t one of them. I wonder why??

We came by during a Saturday music event. Full house. Fun band. Had lunch with wife and kids. French dip was good and the wings were tasty. The mushroom chicken bacon sandwich was big and tasty. Chili was disappointingly cold but it was very busy so understandable. The bartender made sure she took care of us on this issue. Other than that they have Shiner Bock on draft so win!

Definite dive bar vibes, not my kind of place, but we were in the area and decided to give it a try. The food and service will definitely bring us back. Our server was incredibly busy, rushing from table to table, but was super friendly and welcoming. We went for breakfast and both got the breakfast burger. It was huge, and so tasty, cooked to order. The fries were delicious too. I had a Bloody Mary as well, very good, not completely watered down like some restaurants do (talking to you Tortilla Flat Saloon).

Not happy. Called in an order for a Ruben with side tots, also ordered a Ruben no side for lunch tomorrow. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes and it would be 36.12.
Upon pick up I’m given the ticket, I see I was charged 16.62 twice, I asked why, she explained the sandwich is always sold with a side no matter if you want it. But she didn’t say anything about that on the phone.
I’ve attached a photo of the ticket she had waiting for me, along with a receipt for 36.12. My copy explains I could pay cash 34.82, but she never said anything about that.
I will not give my money to whoever has these rules. The menu says 12 bucks. Really bad business practices .
