Stopped by Brinks Tavern and had a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food and drinks were good, and the service really stood out. Our server JB was fantastic—super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the visit. It’s always nice when someone goes the extra mile to make you feel taken care of. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I had a mixed impression of the food. The bacon, black bean hummus, oysters and collards were great. Everything else we ate was okay but not great. The deviled eggs were rubbery and the brioche bun was stale on the burger. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. The patio area looked amazing and we decided that we would come back when it is warmer to sit there. We had several signature cocktails and they were good.

First time in. Place is really nice. Lots of TVs and one very large TV screen as well. Large outdoor seating area with TVs also. Staff was very friendly and fairly attentive. It was a pretty busy Saturday with football going on so there were a couple times we had to wait to get a refill or silverware. We ordered the pot roast po boy and the Texas burger with fries. Food was really good however I think since they were pretty busy our food may have been ready for a little while before they brought it to us since it was luke warm. You could tell it was fresh just a little slow getting to us but overall it was pretty tasty. That’s why I gave 4 stars on food. I’d definitely come again and recommend for anyone looking for a sports bar atmosphere with a pretty diverse menu.

The service and atmosphere were nice. Definitely sports pub vibes with the loud music and televisions, however the food was just mediocre. The best thing we had were the blackened shrimp. The burger in special with the lamb was somewhat dry and didn’t have a lot of flavor, and the fries were soft and without crunch.

An unfortunate disappointment for what we expected to be a nice dinner at our first time here. Below is our experience, but if looking for the TLDR summary, basically go somewhere else. We sat outside, it was a nice cool early evening, and the inside seemed to be really loud (not sure if it’s always like that or not), but the covered seating outside was nice. The food unfortunately was a disappointment. For an appetizer their fries were a disappointment (they were on the specials menu), cheese curse and gravy covered fries. The fries (these and the ones that came with the meal) appeared to maybe be baked and then to melt the cheese on them they were microwaved, you could tell since the fries were cold everywhere except in the center and they were basically mush. We did not finish them (they are pictured below). My wife ordered a basic bacon cheeseburger that was requested to be plain, and it came out with everything on it and the waiter didn’t ask about the temperature, so it came out just a bit above medium rare (not a problem for me, but for her it was inedible. For what she did try to eat the burger lacked any flavor or seasoning (I tried it and verified). For me I had sprung for the 38-dollar fish fry and was also disappointed. You can tell from the pictures that it was drowning in grease and came out cold and over cocked as well, and it was missing the hushpuppies as well (they did bring those out when asked). I couldn’t recommend any of it and it was honestly surprised they could mess up every dish. On a positive note, the server was nice, though it was his first night and the drinks from the bar were decent, but not enough to save what ended up being a 120-dollar mistake for our dinner choice that night. Management was told about the mistakes, but all that was offered was a desert of our choice (which in most places these are all pre-made and basically tossed at the end of the night for what doesn’t sell). We more than likely won’t return anytime soon or recommend it to anyone in looking for a place to dine in the area.

Brink’s Tavern was pretty good. Tvs everywhere and a relaxed vibe to complete the tavern feels.
The service was good, we had Mallory,it was her 1st night working. She didn’t really have any recommendations but she went to ask others.
We had the smallest seafood “tower” warm or cold choice,
The Port Royal
4 oysters, 4 shrimp, 6 Jonah crab claws, 4 oz maine lobster tail, 4 oz sashimi tuna
We did the platter warm with cajun butter. It was absolutely delicious & fresh.
We ordered a few more appetizers or small plates
Million Dollar Bacon
Pimento cheese deviled eggs. This bacon melted in our mouth. Really tasty & the deviled eggs were delicious.
Smoked Salmon Toast
Herbed cream cheese, cucumber, radish, capers, shaved red onion, smoked trout roe, marbled rye. This was ok, i honestly think the rye should have been toasted. The flavors mesh well & everything was fresh but the toast…
Crab & Green Onion Hush Puppies
These were light not too heavy and the sauce was a great compliment to the hushpuppies.
Cornbread & Chorizo Butter Stuffed Oysters. These i think could have had a little less cornbread & just a bit more chorizo. It was really good.
Dinner we ordered
The Cuban & the roast beef sandwiches.
My husband wasn’t crazy about his Cuban,he said it didnt hit like a cuban.
I didn’t think my roast beef was the best I’ve ever had, it was ok but it had Swiss cheese on it and the roast beef was lukewarm, not cold and niy hot,I expected different I suppose. The bread wasn’t the greatest. It would have been better toasted then the horseradish aoli could be smeared on.
I’d say overall, really good food. I’d go for appetizers for sure. I’d probably try different for dinner plates rather than sandwiches.

This place has potential. Great atmosphere, Good service! The food itself is blah… I’ve visited on two different occasions with two different sets of individuals and each time was not impressed, neither were they. So far the bacon has been the best thing I’ve had.

My husband and I walked in and 3 employees were at the host station. We were not greeted as they started laughing chatting with each other while we stood there. Finally!!! she asked how many of us, she pointed at a table behind her then proceeded to take us in the opposite direction in a complete circle and back to the table that she was going to seat us, continuing to laugh and whispering to the other workers. It was VERY unprofessional and I asked my husband did he want to leave.
The “manger” walked out and I called her to our table to let her know what took place.
The food– I ordered the shrimp po-boy and the bread was very hard I had to cut it with the knife. My husband ordered the steak and cheese sandwich and the bread was the same. Coleslaw is really good and the fries were ok.
The manager came back to the table when we were checking out and apologized again and asked how everything was. I let her know that the hostess set a bad tone for me being this was our first time patronizing the business.
Checking out– we were given out ticket with a questionnaire that was already filled out. Forgot to take pictures of the food.
We were recommend to try it and was told they had a good experience. I don’t know if we’ll be returning and for future reference they should make sure that particular employee take her job serious

Everyone in our party loved their meals and the apps tower was awesome – try the Red Clay hot sauce!
Everyone was attentive, but still going through the learning curve of a new restaurant. They brought my fish & chips even though they were out of the remoulade, and while it was still very good, I would have probably opted for something else if I would have known.
TVs everywhere, which is awesome on a game day, but the sound echo with the open ceilings reminded us of Ironwood Tavern in Riverwood before they put the sound baffles up in their restaurant.
The bar looks great and we’ll probably sit there and eat & drink next time. So glad to have another option close by! We will be back soon.

Horrible. I wish i could leave 0 stars but i cant. The calamari was fishy and over seasoned not to mention most of the basket is fried peppers instead of actual calamari.. The server never came to check on us, even after we complained and the manager looked at us as if we were lying about not liking the food and just wanted a free meal. Wouldn’t want a free meal here even if you offered it to me! None of our food was able to be finished and we spent around 80 dollars for two people and thats including the calamari being taken off. If you want a sloppy joe looking burger for $22 which doesn’t even include a side of fries come to brinks tavern . Seriously this is a subpar sports bar in Augusta Ga trying to charge Atlanta premium prices with absolutely nothing to show for it. Its pathetic
