Probably trying to save money but management decided it would be wise to have one person working the entire place alone. Although that made service very slow, she did great and surprisingly had a good attitude. I recommend putting on at least two people per shift so you don’t wear your employees out and lose good ones.

Food and beer were lovely.

I ordered the BLAST burger it was perfectly cooked medium. Very tasty and fries were crispy. The double IPA quenched my thirst for a great beer.
Things were a little slow coming out of the kitchen but I cannot blame them. They had two large groups of people (my group included) showing up on a random day at opening. Service staff was very friendly and accommodating. The trivia games were a nice touch to help pass the time.

Cool spot for bar food. Service wasn’t that great. Like they were annoyed to be there. Food was average. You’re not missing anything if you skip it.

Great brews and a wonderful menu. The veggie sub was delicious. The southwest grilled chicken salad was perfect. The really fine bar and superb brews on tap, brewed on premise. A great variety to be had! Family owned and run. Sweet people and place.

Beer was good and the wagyu burger was even better! Highly recommend trying rhe wagyu. Locally sourced, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in long long time. Very juicy and flavorful. Service was good as well. If your in Cortez, I’d give this place a try.

We stopped in here last year while in town, and had a great meal so had to come back. We had the shrimp platter and the Tuscan chicken pasta which were both great. I had to try a bowl of the green Chile stew, which was also delicious. We couldn’t eat dessert, so got the chocolate chip cookie cheesecake and the raspberry cheesecake. Our server Neco was outstanding, even though a tour bus came in right after us. Bravo!

Food was well prepared and service was excellent. We both had the American Wagyu burger. It didn’t taste and different than a regular burger. Wasn’t as moist as I would expect it to be.

A nice variety of foods on the menu that should please everybody. Service is usually a little slow but friendly. My biggest complaint is that it is always so cold in there. There are big fans on the ceiling going all the time. Last time I went I forgot to bring extra layers and was too cold to enjoy my meal.

When we asked the waitress about vegetarian options, she got excited and pointed out multiple menu options. She also offered to modify anything else on the menu to meet our needs. The beer was good too!

We stopped in for lunch while we were passing through visiting Mesa Verde. I had the french dip with onions and peppers and I enjoyed it very much. Nice flavor with the au jus and liked the crunch on the fries. The waitress, while very pleasant, was obviously being stretched pretty thin to take care of all of the tables so service was a bit slow. Overall, we enjoyed the colorful surroundings. Recommend a stop if you’re in the area.
