TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great first experience with Dave’s Hot Chicken!
Restaurant was quiet when I arrived (it was quite late at night), and the young man who took my order helpfully explained the menu and spice levels. I took his recommendation for the meal, with a tender at medium spice level and a slider at the hot spice level. The food took a little time to be ready, but the wait wasn’t terribly long. Food was hot and nicely spiced! Fries were delicious! I thought the portion size was good for the price. Definitely will consider getting food from Dave’s again, especially this location!

Don was a wonderful host, greeting patrons as they entered the restaurant. He asked if it was our first time trying their food and was kind to give us a rundown of the menu. My husband and I made our selections, mine being the #3 chicken tender and slider. These portions are big! I could only finish the slider which was fresh, hot, and juicy. The fries have a fantastic seasoning and are the right amount of crispy. We will definitely be returning here.

Very pleasant experience… the chicken was piping hot full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Nice and crunchy yet soft and juicy.
This is the firat time I try this brand, and so far im very satisfied. Definitely recommend you check them out.

Loved the free slusher and pairing it with crispy fries! Should have mixed the strawberries with the cream more as I hot a super sweet high taste would have curbed if the cream had been mixed more on my part. But otherwise good food.

My family and I have visited Dave’s Hot Chicken several times, and each visit has been a delight. The chicken is juicy, fresh, and crispy, making every bite deliciously satisfying. It’s better to dine in when the chicken is fresh and hot.
I also love their fries, the seasoning is perfect, and their backdrop decor adds to the charm and makes for a great spot for pictures!
I prefer the medium spicy option, as the extra spicy is a bit too intense for my taste buds. Overall, Dave’s Hot Chicken is a great spot for foodies.

First time coming here, I came because of the Fallout meal as I’ve been a fan of the franchise for nearly a decade. Very clean and nice store, staff was very friendly! I believe the cashier’s name was Tremaine? He was very nice.

Everything has been wonderful the handful of times we enjoyed meals here. Service always friendly and accommodating. This particular night Dom went above and beyond sharing his knowledge of the menu, offering new menu options, and accommodating to my kids craving for the new fallout survival kit.
