Went thru the drive thru . Was quickly handed a bag with cold fries told the lady working the window the fries were cold . They took the bag back threw the cold fries away & put some more cold fries in the bag while claiming the other fries “just came up” I have worked in fast food as management and this is not how you handle customers complaints this is Roseville take that funky attitude to 7mile …. By the way what is this on my nuggets ? DO BETTER . McDonald’s prices steady increasing the quality of service needs to increase as well.

We went to get the new Arch Burger this past week, and ordered a large fry with it. We live less than 2 miles away from this location. The burger was cold. The fries were cold, soggy, not a trace of salt on them, and the box was only half full. This is the absolute worst location of McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in life. I worked at a McDonald’s when I was a teenager, the location I worked at had quality standards that were consistent. I know what it’s like to serve fresh, hot food to customers. There are no quality standards at this location. Do better.

To review the food here is kind of redundant as it is McDonald’s after all, & they wouldn’t be in business if the food wasn’t good.
However, I will review the service. I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s location for well over 30 years. The manager Jeff has been the manager since 2008, and his team seems to be the same team for as long as I can remember. The one thing I look forward to at McDonald’s now is plain and simple Jeff and his team. They exhibit such a rare quality of pride in their jobs, & find it these days anywhere is a struggle, yet you find it here at the McDonald’s on Gratiot and Martin. Usually when placing my order, I call it in ahead of schedule because it’s usually a large order. Whether it’s Jeff , picking up the phone and saying good morning, or one of his team members, they are all pleasant and happy to take care of you.

I wish I could say that about the ambience, that doesn’t exist anymore at a McDonald’s & who’s ever made this decision to allow McDonald’s to look like this has taken them down a very dark path, I think it’s going to affect their sales greatly.
I don’t want to clutter this review, because I really wrote it about how great the services here, despite McDonald’s corporate doing their best to ruin an icon. I feel bad for the new owners, however because they’re forced to make the changes or you do not keep your franchise.
Between the automation at the drive-through with the canned voice that spew out McDonald’s agenda not allowing the customer to speak. And the sign pollution you almost get dizzy at McDonald’s nowadays. The only reason I go to McDonald’s is because of JEFF and his team. I hope JEFF and his team see this and know they are appreciated.

Complaint Regarding Missing Items, Poor Service, and Unprofessional Behavior – August 3rd at 12:15 AM

Dear McDonald’s Headquarters ,

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a very disappointing experience I had at your location on August 3rd around 12:15 AM (shortly after midnight). This incident involved missing items, cold food, and unprofessional behavior from one of your employees.

I ordered two snack wraps and fries, but my order was missing both snack wraps, and the fries were cold. When I addressed this with the woman working the Drive thru window 1, rudely insisted my order was correct without checking. After some back-and-forth, she finally gave me the missing snack wraps after checking my bag for herself, but offered no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake.

When I got home, I discovered the snack wraps and Double Quarter pounder were served with only meat and bread—completely missing all toppings. This felt intentional and disrespectful, as I was not informed if the store was out of stock especially given how dismissive the worker had been.

The employee in question was an African American woman, working the drive thru at the time. I did not catch her name, but she may be identifiable through shift records. I mention this only to help with identifying who was working at the time.

This level of customer service is unacceptable. I expect better quality and professionalism from McDonald’s. I’m requesting that this issue be addressed with the staff involved, and I would appreciate a refund or compensation for the poor service and missing food.

The worst McXperience I’ve ever had in my life. Ordered a large sweet tea and 4 cookies, recieved 2 cookies and unsweetened tea. The staff member who handed me my bag literally never even looked at me even when I said thank you and told them to have a great night they never once looked at me. We ordered on uber eats from here today and requested 14 bbq sauces which we paid for and never received (we buy extra to have at home for the kids), our fries were literally crunchy like potato chips, and the filet o fish was dry and crunchy as well. I called to let the mgr. know that the quality of the food was horrible and they may want to check whoever is cooking. She rudely answered “mcdonalds gratiot and martin” with a horrible attitude. I asked for a manager and she said this is one. I was friendly and said I am not looking to get anything from you guys, but I explained what happened and she said “what time was that? I responded and let her know (it was literally like an hour from the time I called and got someone because Noone answered the phone the other times) and her response was “that was before my shift”(still with an attitude), “so what do you want”. I said I just wanted to make you guys aware about the quality of the food you’re putting out and check with whoever was cooking it. I also bit into a fry to show the crunch while on the phone and she didn’t give a care in the world. Again she asked what I wanted and I said just for you to check your team thats cooking and she said I will, at that point I was frustrated because you can clearly tell she didn’t care and my response was no you wont and I hung up. Horrible customer service…smh.

KIOSK wasn’t working properly, so the staff took orders on the cash registers. The food was decent. I always request my Fila-o’Fish made fresh topped with lettuce and pickles. This makes it as close to gormet style as i can get it. My nuggets were fresh tasting, too. Perhaps they were made at the same time as my Fila-o’fish. Nice crunching very tasty when dipped into the sweet and sour sauce. My French fries were hot. This is perfect because McDonald’s fries are always the best when made fresh.

I felt like a crazy person at this McDonald’s but the only crazy one is whoever was cooking Monday morning march 3rd 2025 had to come back 3 times to get ONE steak egg and cheese bagel I ordered it with extra breakfast sauce the first one had no onions no sauce so I politely went back through to rectify the mistake the second one also had no sauce!!!! How hard is it to put RXTRA sauce on something it’s not coming out of your paycheck annoying McDonald’s cook!! but the girl at the window was nice I will include I picture of the SECOND sandwich with “extra sauce” and thanks for adding one slivered onion

This is the worse location. My fries was old and stale. My burger buns were burnt. My Big Mac had more sauce than anything else I couldn’t eat it. You call straight to voicemail employees in drive thru are rude. Never again.
