Although partially our fault for ordering wine at an Irish pub, the wine was absolutely awful. Cabernet and Pinot Gris that smelled and tasted like vinegar. We were unable to choke it down. Obviously the wine came from bottles that had been opened a long, long time before and had started to sour. It should have been thrown away and not served. We generally prefer Irish pubs and loved the overall atmosphere. Great place to watch a sports as well, and enjoyed watching the NFL game there. The bartender was attentive and friendly. We would have definitely stayed for another drink if the wine hadn’t been sour!

It’s always a goal of mine to visit an Irish Pub in any town anywhere I go.
We called in for a pint & it was great. It was a short visit & glad we did.
I had a quick pint & go. The bartender was great & chatty sharing stories of managing the riff raff that passes through from time to time.

We just love Ryan’s Irish Pub. Nearly any kind of sport you can imagine is on one of their many wide screen televisions. The cocktails are great and very reasonable. They have a great beer selection and again, the prices are very reasonable. The servers are great, super friendly and knowledgeable. They do not serve food here, but seem to have no problem with bringing your own.

Ryan’s Irish Pub is always a great time, but what really sets it apart is Carolyn, Cherise, Carly, Rachel, Shea and Victoria behind the bar! They are absolute gems – super accommodating, professional, and always on top of things. They run a tight bar with incredible efficiency while still making sure everyone feels welcomed and happy. The cocktails are top shelf, and the service matches. Can’t wait to come back for more good vibes, great drinks, and Ryan’s Irish Pub’s outstanding hospitality!

We stopped in multiple times on our trip from New york and everyone behind the bar is amazing but we absolutely LOVE Shea. The BEST bartender we had in all of New Orleans! A great, chill place with ALL of the nfl games which makes for a great time! Will be back anytime we are in town.

Cute pub in a good location in NOLA. We had Irish car bombs and beer, and sat on fun carved wood stools. The bartender was friendly and served us fast. They weren’t super busy early evening Thursday, so we didn’t have to wait for seating.

Our first place after getting off the plane and Shea was the best tour guide we could have asked for. From dive bars to food she will get you a list .

I was in New Orleans for a few days on a solo trip and on my first day the weather was (as a Scotland-dweller) incredibly warm so I felt the need to dip into a pub earlier than I’d initially planned for a beer. After a quick scan of surrounding places with good reviews on Google I plumped for Ryan’s and I’m glad I did. I got a very friendly welcome from Shea behind the bar and a couple of locals too. A lady who I’d obviously not met until 30 seconds prior offered me some of the home-made babka she’d brought in for the staff and I chatted with some other locals as well as my accent drew some interest about my travels. I dropped into a bunch of other places during my stay but this first impression really stuck with me and Ryan’s was one of my go-tos while I was in the French Quarter. very friendly and attentive service from all the staff but particularly Shea who was on bar every day I went in and on my second visit welcomed me like I was a regular myself. I ended up speaking to a lot of different people over my few visits there, just chatting generally and getting local recommendations as Ryan’s has clearly cultivated a super-welcoming atmosphere among locals and tourists alike. Top this off with a great selection of local craft beer and you’ve got somewhere that if or hopefully when I go back to New Orleans I’d definitely make a point of going back to.

The bartender Carly has extensive knowledge of the local food and venues in the area. Highly recommend talking to her for direction. She recommended some great places for casual dining and reasonable prices wanted some seafood. The oysters for meds were awesome and they walked them over and delivered to us kudos to Carly. She’s the best

Rude….No other review necessary. While sitting at the table waiting on my husband to join me. I was immediately greeted with, “ if you’re going to sit here you have to order something”. That was it…. That was the greeting, No “Hello”, no “hey how’s it going”, nothing. I may not be Irish babe but my money is green and we definitely took it to another location.
